New helmet looks sick!! just saying yesterday i wanted a carbon rampage that the paint wouldnt fall off of.
  • 9 8
 looks like d3 to me.
  • 5 0
My V3 R Carbon has been flawless.
  • 8 0
Poutiainen looking like a D3 is not bad thing!
  • 13 0
Just one small probleme with the new Fox helmet, the price !
  • 8 7
Yeah, just one of many helmets trying to be a poor man's D3 these days.
  • 6 6
They certainly don´t look better than the ONE helmets, so the price is outrageous!
  • 3 5
super sick helmet but I'll stick to the d3 'cause I know what it can take!
  • 1 0
I wanna know if the paint job on the Fox lid was done to purposely match Steve Smith's new carbon rig?
  • 2 0
Hoping the composite Rampage stays at ~$120. That is a great helmet at a decent price. Can live w/out the extra screen windows.
  • 3 0
Looking forward to seeing the new lid in the flesh. My V3R is the best fitting lid I've tried but regularly cooks my head, so hope the new ones vents work well! Price is pretty steep though.
  • 1 0
anyone know if the new helmet is DOT approved?
  • 2 0
Its doubtful on the DOT stamp. Its a carbon DH specific helmet, gonna have to look in the moto lineup. All the other rampage helmets in the past are pretty much bike specific so they arent looking to get them approved for moto use, extra $$ and weight.

230 bucks for a rain jacket...they have balls at Fox Smile
  • 9 0
DUDE! It's a yellow rain jacket plus it says FOX on it.
  • 3 0
It is a little hard to swallow. I would have expected a Goretex type product for a simple single skin products like that.
  • 2 0
I'll stick to my Arcteryx rain jacket
  • 5 4
Tell ya right now- GoreTex is a 30 year old tech. There are better fabrics out there that you don't have to be wet for it to breath (that is how GoreTex works) I have no idea what fabrics FOX is using- but the bike industry needs to get with the times. And guys- these fabrics to not come cheap. A garbage bag can keep you dry but do you want to wear it. Any company that uses GoreTex is out of date !
  • 1 0
Which GoreTex are you on about? The Membrane or the Laminates?
Which waterproof do you like Sgt? I find the Gore alright but much prefer Paramo's Analogy fabric for staying very dry.
  • 3 0
I'm a fan right now with Omni-Dry by Columbia. Ultra Breatable- Ultra Waterproof. The tests I've seen and with the awards they are winning. This is the best out there. And they work hard to price inovated products at a fare prices. Not to mention I do not like some of the biz practices of Gore-Tex. They show all the same fabrics (incuding colors) to many brands and in return the market place has become a sea of sameness. They also do not allow brands to use other compies tech if the want to use Gore-Tex products. In return cunsumers are not getting the chance to buy the best of the best out there- shame on them and shame on the idustry to allow this to happen. Sorry for the rant
  • 1 0
+1 I have a 2 year old Omni-Dry that I have used summer ( biking downhill and XC, garbage bag works to but damn are they hot)and winter. Functions well in all environments IMO.
  • 5 0
approaching TLD's pricetag... dont do it fox! stoked for any new moto gear schemes theyll release fox kit looks better than TLD IMO. had a fox rampage and i hope the fit is better this time round, it was good until I tryed a D3 and now cant go back

The bike industry seems to have forgotten that we are in the middle of a recession. $230 for a rain jacket is ludacris.
  • 20 0
no, ludacris is a rapper. the price is ludicrous.
  • 1 1
No, its ludacris... rich rapper crazy!!!

230 isn't a huge amount to pay for a waterproof jacket
  • 2 5
You guys have no idea what it takes to bring a product to the market place. Good luck getting a jacket made in China for $8- do you even know what is going on in the world. China workers are protesting for a higher min. wage and they are getting it. If you think there are little kids sewing jacketsi a dark factory in Chyina and the companie are just pocketing the cheap labor cost- again you have no idea. Everybody wants "inovation"- Keep Me Dryer, More Pockets, Make it Lighter ..... - but no one wants to pay for it. If you want a cheap price on a water proof jacket thengo to your local store and buy yourself a garbage bag- that will keep you dry!
  • 2 0
a ridiculous amount of the price is for colours and the name
  • 2 1
Price in many cases is what the company thinks it can get, standard mark up on clothing for stores is 50% so jacket costs the stores $115 so companies profit has to come from that. Staff can prodeal kit for 25-30% off wholesale so that $230 jacket probably costs fox $40-50 if that.
  • 3 0
Yellow Jacket man is hiding some peanuts.. Poke someones eye out with those...
  • 1 0
 Haha, he's a sultana smuggler
  • 1 0
didn't understand wtf you were on about, till I looked again. Pmsl Big Grin
  • 2 0
One important thing to me (to be comparable with serious DH helmets): does it come with a Quick Release buckle or with a Double D-ring?
  • 1 0
 Double D-ring
  • 1 0
I think all fox DH helms are double d
  • 3 1
Double D makes me feel so much safer.
  • 1 0
My Rampage has a clip not double D's
  • 3 0
My Rampage has double D's haha
  • 1 0
as far as I know the Rampage has a quick release buckle
  • 1 0
 Mine has double D's
  • 1 0
So why would I have to wait to buy a FOX Rampage Pro Carbon when I can buy a FOX V4 from my local motorcycle shop right now? Aren't they the same thing? Because if they're not, they look EXTREMELY close.
  • 1 0
Fox forgot to mention the safety rating of the helmet. What is it? (Full Moto Snell M2005 or DOT level or a lame non-DH worthy Bike Standard Test). Slightly important factor missing...
  • 5 2
I thought I would stay with TLD forever, but Fox made me change my mind.
  • 2 3
Damn , look for my new product line ! Ill start having these jackets made in China for $8 , slap on a cool looking design in a flashy color ,tell you what my rain jacket will do ( just like all others will do ) and then sell for $200 . LOL , got to love the industry and people that feed on the BS and pay to support their hi profits . Might as well order some lube so its somewhat enjoyable right ?
  • 1 0
ahh! why? why? the last year there was yust 1 nice helmet, D3 .
this year ther's like 4 or 5 nice helmets it will be so hard to chose yust one.
  • 1 0
Yeah that helmet is f-ing rad looking. That yellow outline is sick, but would be distracing, id black the jawline out if i won the lotto and had one.
  • 1 0
Have to say that fullface helmets price are really high these day.....TLD D3, Bell Moto 9 and now FOX Rampage Pro cost around 400 bucks....wheew
  • 1 0
nice lid but a tld is always a tld but for a second choice is the one i would take no doubt
  • 1 0
Wow, im buying that Fox Carbon model as soon as it hits the stores! Love all the new Fox 2013 gear!
  • 4 4
New Fox Lids are sick. Got two D3's but for sure will pick one of these bad boys up in the near future!
  • 21 0
...you have a need for more than $1000 dollars worth of helmets?
  • 5 4
I like the new fox lids. You live once man. Sometimes U just got's too!
  • 5 0
"You live once ".... an obvious fact that don't justify your spending of helmets !
I live once too but i haven't 1000 $ for a helmet Big Grin

In all cases keep doing whatever you want dude ^^
  • 5 1
well maybe he has two spare heads sprouting from his neck that he needs to protect...? i mean c'mon
  • 4 4
So just because I want more nice stuff something is wrong here! wth? I've never met anyone who didn't want more bike related gear or parts, But If you think so...

Whats not so funny is that, I forgot I have a spare V3 and two spare 661 Evo's but will be selling these shortly.
  • 9 0
You only live once. Therefore, you must triple up on fullface helmets. Wear them all at the same time.
  • 2 1
stacked on top of each other.
  • 1 1
 lol, u mad brah!
  • 1 3
 You * bro *
I'm a freaking french snail eater and I am trying to correct you ... Not sure if you are illiterate or just spendthrift Smile
  • 6 1
@ everybody. We all live once, but I am quite sure that some of you might have 2 - 3 bikes in your garage, between 2000$ - 4000$ each (random price). So, you ride them all at the same time...He is spending his money, not mine...
  • 3 0
multiple bikes =/= multiple helmets of the exact same type.
  • 1 0
 that guy needs some visine!
  • 2 1
So f*cking nice helmet! Give me one Big Grin
  • 2 0
Yeah, or a 50% discount will do
  • 1 0
Ill stick to buying my helmets at royal way cheaper
  • 1 0
