Speedplay Drillium Pedals
Color:
Black or Black
Price:
$109 USD (MSRP)
Pedals are one of the things that can make or break you in the biking world (without them you would go nowhere). Most people would rather make it, but not break the bank account. But some of us don't mind spending what's left in the piggie bank for proper gear. For you true mountain bike enthusiasts the Speedplay Drillium pedal is an amazing, light weight, well designed pedal for either racing, downhill, freeride, pretty much any style of riding. With three precision bearings (one needle and two cartridge), these babies will never go sticky on you and with an avaible lube port you never have to worry about wearing dry bearings out.
At $109 US dollars (MSRP) the Speedplay Drillium pedals are on the expensive side of the flat pedal market but with 20 pins per pedal and more holes than you could shake a stick at, they grip like mad and are light too. They are a well designed pedal, that is definately an eye catcher at any event, or even at your local trails. Not only that, but they have a wicked "honey comb" design that makes cleaning the dirt out from inside them extremely easy. The 12mm spindle will also keep you larger riders and huckers upright longer too. The Drillium pedal is an all around excellent pedal that won't dissapoint you in any aspect of your riding.
Speedplay can be reached at www.speedplay.com or through your local bike shop.-JH
MRP System #3 Chain Guide
A main concern for riders when it comes to their drive train is "does it SKIP!?". Chain retention has been an issue for riders since the dawn of time. Nobody wants to be the kid whose chain skips, clicks, cracks, and snaps while going down a gnarkill trail. Enter MRP and their chain guide systems.
The System 3 is the most versatile option from MRP and will mount to a large variety of bikes. If weight is your largest concern, but you still want to have all of the retention benefits of the patented MRP system, then the System 3 is your guide. MRP utilizes its best tools, allowing for more standard fits offering ISCG, ISCG-05 and non-ISCG mounting options. The system 3 utilizes a simple boomerang with 2 roller guide, but with lightweight anti-friction rollers which cut down on rolling friction, which means little to no chain drag or effort lost. If you're a serious weight weenie like some people i know(KAkah!), then the MRP system 3 also comes in a carbon fiber version which is drastically lighter.

TSG Kneepad TP Model
Sizes:
Small, Medium and Large
The Timo Pritzl inspired low pro knee guard is perfect for someone looking for comfortable and less obstructive protection. Fitting snuggly under your jeans their multi paneled padding conforms to your knees better than a conventional single plastic cup, although you may sacrifice a little protection for the comfort. Available in three sizes I choose a medium and wear it out and about. The pad featured two adjustable straps and the fit was perfect. My larger single cup pads tend to bind and cut in when I am pedaling, I barely knew I had the TP pads on until I had to use them. They provided excellent lateral protection of my inner patella and I was saved from the bruises I come to expect from pads with lesser side protection. I loved the fit and the improved pedaling movement I gained with the TP kneepad and will be wearing them at the bike park from now on.

Dangerboy Howitzer Low Profile Stem
Colors: (all 9 options)
Stealth Black, Impact Blue, Infra Red, Military Green, Gun Metal Grey, Agent Orange, Purple Haze, Pink Fusion, 24K Gold.
Price:
$83 CDN (MSRP)
I get tired in the shop of telling people how important it is to make sure the front end of your bike is well taken care of. Replacing your bar and stem every two seasons, or when horrible mishaps occur is not only recommended but pertinent to survival. No one likes reconstructive surgery and when a bar or stem lets go, it’s never pretty. So when you replace your current stem make sure it’s with one of some reasonable quality like the Dangerboy CNC'd Howitzer. The Dangerboy Low Profile stem features a 31.8mm (oversize) bar size and nine different anodized colours from Stealth Black to Agent Orange. The stems are a nice low profile stack height at 30 mm and a 10 degree rise with 47mm length. Perfect for the rider looking for a low short stem with unique detail. The machining on this stem is very professional and it includes a custom top cap. With strength and looks to spare this stem is an easy choice for a rider looking to improve the overall look and safety on the front end of their bike.

Troy Lee Designs XC Glove
Colors
7 Options)
Black, Blue, Grey, Pink, Red, White and Yellow
To most riders gloves are an asset to a good ride, and we all know that a uncomfortable set of mitts is just the pits. Experimenting with glove types, sizes, padding, things like that can all benefit your riding. If you don't choose the correct style of glove for your type of riding, you could be missing out on a better ride. That's why Troy Lee Designs has, over the years, developed the XC glove. The benefit of an XC glove is that you can use it for any type of riding, not only Cross Country. The 2007 TLD XC glove is a well rounded glove, utlilizing a lightly padded single layer Clarino leather palm, 2-way stretch Spandex and Air-Prene material for a lightweight, non-restrictive fit, some Silicon appliqué on fingers for increased grip on levers, and a sick set of colours. It has become a favorite among DH and XC riders alike. Coming out of the factory in Yellow, White, Red, Pink, Blue, Grey and Black, Troy Lee has given you the rider enough color options to match or clash with any riding kit you may have.

Mace 3/4 Ignition Shorts
Colors:
Pewter and Black
Sizes:
Small, Medium, Large, XL and XXL
Mace has made some changes to the 3/4 Ignition short from last year. The 3/4 length keeps your legs well covered from the from the sticks and stones, while the new laser cut venting really allows nice air flow to keep you cool on those hot riding days. The waist is higher in the back to help keep debris out of your butt crack. The waist is also adjustable with synch tabs on each hip if you choose not to run a belt through the "large enough for your studded belt" loops. The large cargo pockets have more than enough room for all kinds of gadgets and the angled zippers make for more ease of use. The use of contrasting stitching thread makes the Mace shorts stand out in a crowd and on their own. The keep me clean, cool me up and are strong enough to hold up when I lay the bike down in my normal rider error dismounts.
