yahhh my trail bike used to be a hard tail but at the end of the day, regardless of what discipline of biking im doing, I just want to go as hard and as fast as I can and you just cant go as hard and fast on a hard tail bike as you can a full suspension
Did my first Super D at bear Mt with my hardtail block 8 Cromo it was and I had the best fun ever on that MT. Even got mid pack. Only 2 hardtails there, mine and a Chromag
After abandoning a 2011 Scott LT30( its for sale, if anyone wants it!) for a2006 Sinister Ridge, I can say, in no uncertain terms, that this video is like watching pure poetry. Without a doubt, a hardtail WILL make you a much better rider .I ride Highland on a regular basis on the Ridge and it easily outperforms the LT.It is considerably faster both up and down. Far more reliable. Far more stable at speed in the rough stuff. Far more predictable overall. No going back for me, thanks. : )
Really dumb question but what type of frames are those? Compared to a lot of hard tails I have seen, the top tube is a lot lower and relaxed geometry on these bikes (I think). I have always wanted a hard tail like this because it looks a lot easier to bounce around and bunny hop.
The Chromag videos inspired me to start riding HT again, and I'm having so much more fun on it. FS just seems to make you soft unless you're riding rough stuff all the time!
It's weird. I'm pretty good with knowing all mountain bike manufacturers ,but I did not know about chromag. Maybe something I'll look into if I want a new trail bike.
Great bikes and riding guys.
