During the months of March to May the southern hemisphere's landscape is transformed by the second season of its year. Conor Macfarlane embraces Autumn, ripping leafy, loamy, loose single track under an incredibly colourful canopy in Arrowtown, New Zealand.

 Toured New Zealand in march and April. Wonderful country, very similar to Canada in so many ways. The mtn bike potential is huge. The people are just so fucking cool, but they love rugby in a way that makes Canadians look like they just kind of like hockey. A little bit. A passing fancy. Rugby is more than a sport there. And ranching cows and sheep is pretty popular too.

 That time of year, Arrowtown is probably one of the prettiest little towns in the whole country. Great local bikeshop there too
