Anyone who thinks this is slow or he wasn't shredding needs to also realize that damp leaves are slippery as soap. Shredding in those conditions is a lot different than shredding in optimal conditions. That trail actually looks very similar to one of my local trails right now and traction is minimal at best.
Yeah I know first hand how those kinds of trails are. The North Umpqua Trail in Oregon is my main trail to ride and "shredjekyll" is right leaves are slick plus you can't see the rocks below. I have the shredded arm to proove it. Still not going to keep me from ridding though.
Most of us that ride or at least try to ride all year around can see that conditions are what they are.. Yes he was fast.
For me riding in non-optimal conditions is just as fun as riding in the optimal conditions. Getting looser and no jerky movement till summer!
Wharncliffe and woods like it in the north of england at this time of year are shit to ride in... As above... No tyre works well and the traction is awful.... That was fast, as u would expect from Jack. The man is more solid than rock. Good to see u have a new ride dude...
Jack/gee I still have your trophy from the heroes race shall I leave it in the cabin at hamsterley along with barytons and if you manage to get there you can pick it up if not i will get it to you at the BDS
Brandoncoughlin, 6th in the Garbanzo DH at Crankworx and top 50's in worldcups would point to him being perfectly able to shred. I've seen him ride and he rips on a bike
Had completely forgot that, he liked his 2012 one so much that he bought this one. Was tempted to buy his old one! Riders of his standard shouldn't have to buy their own bikes though...
Again not worthy of pb homepage?? My guess is its off season and not a lot of good vids. Coming in. Good riding in bad conditions. But I just finished watching Kenny smith shred and then watched this.... I think u get my point
I don't know what video you were watching but he looked pretty good to me... Was it the slow motion that made him look like he wasn't "shredding" hard enough?
This guy who 'sucks' has managed to qualify 12th at world cups, is consistently top 50 and finished 3rd at the garbo... to top it off, he did all this while studying a masters degree in optometry so he had no time to train.
Anyone else have they jaw drop at how he hooped up in one of those first berm close ups?!
Good riding in bad conditions. But I just finished watching Kenny smith shred and then watched this.... I think u get my point
