After the first KD Buttery Paradise video we made last winter, we knew a sequel would happen at some point. Well, Pro Cook Matt Macduff and Seasoning Chef Louis Lhomel recently met again to show you how to make some good KD for your girl. Enjoy!
This is adorable!! I'd totally enjoy it with my guy, but he wouldn't have to worry about the serving size for me...we'd go shred a trail together to burn it off when we're finished eating! hahah
Did he just pour Bacon grease down the damn sink drain!!!!!? C'mon dude, tha'ts a woman mistake. either you save it for making gravy etc. later, or you let it cool and put it in the trash. Cloggin your pipes is no bueno.
My own recipe I made up during quick dinner w/ GF.
Macaroni w/ Ground Beef. - Cook Macaroni regularly, in a big pot. - While cooking ground beef slowly (about 2/3 of package, depending) - Season ground beef with a little bit of salt and a little more pepper (also some drops of lime optional) - Once macaroni is completely done (cheesed out and everything), put in beef (well cooked) - Stir, make sure beef is chopped up and mixed. - Gotta get the ratio right, 2/3 Macaroni vs. 1/3 or 1/2 Beef.
I just looked them up. Weirdly enough I've never had hamburger helper...Unfortunately, my family growing up never really ate things like Mac & Cheese, Hamburger Helper, etc etc.
Don't feel bad. I once poured myself a half ice tea and half lemonade and thought I came up with a new drink. My husband asked me if a I had an Arnold Palmer and I said "no, I used Lipton".
^ Hahahaha. Now...that's a little worse You can go to tons of fast food or any semi-fast restaurant and they'll usually have that there (in California at least)! But, doesn't it suck? I can't tell you how many things I've thought I invented only to find I'm years and years behind.
I like feta, and I don't use much exact measurements, just add to taste I guess. It's really good. actually mentally adding the stuff to my grocery list as it's been a while.
Big Bang Theory... Kraft Dinner with little hot dog pieces cut up into it, strawberry quik.
But seriously... are there that many males here who can't chop up some onions and peppers and zucchini into a wok, and add pieces of chicken (a pre-cooked BBQ chicken from walmart, sobeys, costco, etc) and a sauce package... healthy and takes maybe ten mins.
"When you send your mom out to buy baccon...." BWAhahahaha!
Seriously though, did that dude just pour his baccon grease down the drain? SERIOUSLY? That's SO incredibly amature. Not only does it clog city drainage systems, but any serious Foodie knows you always save and refrigerate your baccon grease for other uses. Pffff, rookies.
Y'all are missing out. My g/f and I work all day and when we get home she makes dinner. I will occasionally make us something simple and we also go out to dinner about once a month. The secret is finding a girl who likes to cook for others.
To expand on the bigbangtheory recipe... you can follow this video direction with less over-acting, take a half dozen all-beef hotdogs (I prefer schneiders) instead of using bacon, chop them into pieces around a 1cm long each, and dump them into the frying pan instead of the bacon. I do though like to use some actual canadian maple syrup to give them a nice carmalized glaze for extra flavour. After you've cooked the weiner pieces, mix the sauce for the KD in the bowl with the noodles, then pour that all into the pan with the hotdogs, stir it up, put it on a low heat to simmer together for a few minutes and then serve to girlfriend. Mine appreciated it tonight.
And what if you make something very good/tasty, then you can forget biking, because than it's YOU who will cook later on. So better pay for a restaurant and enjoy riding for forever
i was going to take my lady to the keg, but damn. How can you argue with this. She will practically be begging for my noodle(s). Cooked to perfection of course.
