I love what Kona has done here. It just would of been nice to see them give that support to a local Bike park in the NW or surrounding area. I mean their headquarters is in WA. Don't see why they had to make it so far away.

if this idea works out for Kona it won't be long before more mtn. bike co.'s will also offer arranged tours to their new parks for peeps who live far away. Cannondale (maybe others for all i know) already does it for roadies, but they do it on tour de france (etc.) routes as a full all inclusive travel package ( not including airfare i don't think) and it's f-ng pricey. it's a royal pain in the ass for the average rider to plan real DH oriented vacations.

I've been there last weekend, the trails are fun riding everything was well shaped (congrats to Kona) But for the bikepark are 2 days enough.
Leogang is just 2 hours away.

I've been there 3 weeks ago, happy to have another park in this area! Love the black line, not too happy about the red one though. The berms and doubles sometimes do not work for me and some tables are too long for a red, but I'm sure they will work on it. Livigno is also 2 hours away. Great trip to do Leogang, Serfaus, Livigno in a week or so!
