I don't expect people to like this comment, but I'm not a fan of seeing guys pedal as hard as they can for the camera shot. This is in contrast to seeing a guy pinning it from using the natural speed and flow of the trail which better displays the skill and style of the rider. Pedaling super hard for the camera shot just looks contrived and not natural.
yea for sure not the best, i understand hes trying to get speed from not much slope but man its really boring watching him just pedal. Not the best Art Barn video ive ever seen, and most of them are pretty amazing.
Gotta say that personally, I like the shots of when they're pedaling as hard as they can; it's just that they had too many of em. At shots like 1:35, just shows it's a rider that's looking to go faster.. And you can't have natural speed and flow if the trail doesn't have it, doesn't always
I personally think it looks way better then just coasting, because if there isn't enough vertical to just let off the brakes and go fast that's what you have to do to hold speed. If tired of seeing the opposite, a million videos of people coasting down trails and jack-knifing berms for no other reason then to spray dirt for the camera.
Easy on the comments there...Kyle is a fun rider to watch. Also very talented... Art Barn must realize what a solid rider he is and asked him to shoot with them. When was the last time Art Barn invited you to shoot a video with them?
This video shows that Kyle is a everything rider and pins to every obstical that would be why he is peddling not because there is some camera pointed at him. If you've never road with Kyle then I would personally keep your " he's only doing this for the camera" comments to yourself. And for you people who say he is breaking to spray the corners your just jelouse cuz you can't even do it. He loves his bike he loves to ride and this video really shows how true of a rider he is. This comes from someone who grew up in the same town and learning from Kyle.
Keep shredding Kyle, your an inspiration to everyone comin into biking. Squamish represent!
I loved this video, the guy pedalled like he wanted it, like he loves his bike, his riding, going fast.
Coming out of a section and getting the power down fast is an art in itself. Guys make a career out of it at WC level.
Is there anyone who knows Kyle since the Drop In Series Season 5? He was a kid when he was riding in the movie and he was throwing down huge^^ Nice guy Kyle, go on with your riding.
Dude did you watch the video at all? He's not some grom jacknifing a berm to spray dirt? The only 2 times he "skidded" he was full pin sliding a corner
You are from Scotland, don't think you really can comment on cornering on hard packed dry clay with a loose dust layer. You gotta keep the back end loose in those kind of conditions. Also, he didn't jackknife any corners.
