I don't expect people to like this comment, but I'm not a fan of seeing guys pedal as hard as they can for the camera shot. This is in contrast to seeing a guy pinning it from using the natural speed and flow of the trail which better displays the skill and style of the rider. Pedaling super hard for the camera shot just looks contrived and not natural.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 14:25)
Is he not trying to get speed from a not so steep and flowing trail? Beats me
(Nov 23, 2012 at 15:09)
yea for sure not the best, i understand hes trying to get speed from not much slope but man its really boring watching him just pedal. Not the best Art Barn video ive ever seen, and most of them are pretty amazing.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 16:35)
Gotta say that personally, I like the shots of when they're pedaling as hard as they can; it's just that they had too many of em. At shots like 1:35, just shows it's a rider that's looking to go faster.. And you can't have natural speed and flow if the trail doesn't have it, doesn't always
(Nov 23, 2012 at 18:16)
Now that you say that....I have to agree. In a film sense, it makes no sense.
This must be one of those "can't be unseen" moments I've heard about..
(Nov 23, 2012 at 18:49)
I personally think it looks way better then just coasting, because if there isn't enough vertical to just let off the brakes and go fast that's what you have to do to hold speed. If tired of seeing the opposite, a million videos of people coasting down trails and jack-knifing berms for no other reason then to spray dirt for the camera.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 20:31)
This video had such a teenager attitude and he rides like one too!
(Nov 23, 2012 at 20:35)
^ I'm sure you just shred so hard
(Nov 23, 2012 at 21:46)
Bicycles have pedals. I don't think there's anything wrong with people using them whenever they want.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 23:05)
Easy on the comments there...Kyle is a fun rider to watch. Also very talented... Art Barn must realize what a solid rider he is and asked him to shoot with them. When was the last time Art Barn invited you to shoot a video with them?
(Nov 24, 2012 at 15:35)
As soon as swag was mentioned I shut down. Guy needs to pedal smoother, he's over rotating like a spastic
(Nov 24, 2012 at 19:59)
As long as hes pinning i dont really care
(Nov 26, 2012 at 14:42)
@imdabomb, I find it funny how you're profile shows you're 15.
(Nov 27, 2012 at 8:03)
Hahah yea, I didn't say anything to actually diss the video, I just shared my opinion!
(Nov 23, 2012 at 11:04)
Cool vid, didn't really like the song tho
(Nov 23, 2012 at 13:41)
i heard the first second of the song, muted the vid and put on a Vinyl Cafe Podcast instead.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 14:20)
Yea why is it not foo fighters?? Jokes, I thought the tune went nicely with the vid
(Nov 25, 2012 at 18:45)
This video shows that Kyle is a everything rider and pins to every obstical that would be why he is peddling not because there is some camera pointed at him. If you've never road with Kyle then I would personally keep your " he's only doing this for the camera" comments to yourself. And for you people who say he is breaking to spray the corners your just jelouse cuz you can't even do it. He loves his bike he loves to ride and this video really shows how true of a rider he is. This comes from someone who grew up in the same town and learning from Kyle.
Keep shredding Kyle, your an inspiration to everyone comin into biking.

Was typing fast didn't notice.
(Dec 1, 2012 at 7:32)
lol i figured ! i was just trollin'
i found the one word in that entire comment, lol ;P
(Nov 24, 2012 at 13:59)
I loved this video, the guy pedalled like he wanted it, like he loves his bike, his riding, going fast. Coming out of a section and getting the power down fast is an art in itself. Guys make a career out of it at WC level.
(Nov 25, 2012 at 15:28)
Is there anyone who knows Kyle since the Drop In Series Season 5? He was a kid when he was riding in the movie and he was throwing down huge^^ Nice guy Kyle, go on with your riding.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 20:01)
I know that first trail well, and to ride it that fast with a 30 inch spank bar, kudos bud.
(Dec 2, 2012 at 18:34)
Its an atlas.

0:54 - How I ride on a good day..
(Nov 23, 2012 at 11:14)
WHY, WHY...... can't Scotland have trails like BC.....
(Nov 23, 2012 at 11:46)
Emmmmm You's have some serious trails from what I've seen. You's could be a lot worse off.
(Nov 24, 2012 at 0:39)
Yeah, like Living in NYC!
(Nov 24, 2012 at 2:31)
true, but as i have said before... we don't have thousands of square Km of untouched forests to play in
(Nov 24, 2012 at 9:22)
yes we do. that describes most of the country in fact.
(Nov 24, 2012 at 13:57)
just come up North, we have loads of trails to ride.
(Nov 25, 2012 at 17:58)
baffled as to how he can ride, especially in the wet, on flats without riding shoes... props.
(Nov 24, 2012 at 3:56)
Song made me want to die.
(Nov 24, 2012 at 10:24)

(Nov 23, 2012 at 13:31)
Haha at least i know for sure!
(Nov 23, 2012 at 20:06)
I love my Flatline. Amazing whip.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 16:37)
1:09 made me smile
(Nov 24, 2012 at 18:30)
The second i heard "swag" i stopped the video.
(Nov 24, 2012 at 1:04)
(Nov 23, 2012 at 19:29)
I enjoyed the music more than the vid. I'm not even a fan of hip hop or whatever but good rhyming.
(Nov 24, 2012 at 18:03)
Pretty sweet video but what happened to rap?
Below threshold threads are hidden
(Nov 23, 2012 at 11:19)
80's clothes, 80's colors, and now it seems 80's music is coming back around. Lord help us... At least the riding was good.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 11:34)
You're really not helping the American stereotype.
(Nov 23, 2012 at 11:35)
(Nov 24, 2012 at 8:30)
stop skidding all over the place, its bad riding. even if it does look 'good' for the camera.
(Nov 24, 2012 at 9:10)
(Nov 24, 2012 at 9:22)
sliding out on berms. its bad use of the brakes. ive seen kids try the same and crash out a few times.
(Nov 24, 2012 at 15:18)
Dude did you watch the video at all? He's not some grom jacknifing a berm to spray dirt? The only 2 times he "skidded" he was full pin sliding a corner
(Nov 25, 2012 at 0:36)
nope, those shots were set up for the camera and he deliberately slid out to spray some muck up. i keep seeing this in riding vids and its just wrong.
(Nov 25, 2012 at 16:08)
You are from Scotland, don't think you really can comment on cornering on hard packed dry clay with a loose dust layer. You gotta keep the back end loose in those kind of conditions. Also, he didn't jackknife any corners.
