KHS Racing Sign's Logan Binggeli for 2008.
Mar 13, 2008
KHS Bicycles recently signed Logan Binggeli as the newest member of the KHS Racing Team. Binggeli, 18, has been racing competitively since 2006 and specializes in downhill, with great expertise in technical sections and ultra high-speed racing. As a KHS Racing team member, Binggeli adds strength and depth to the mountain bike team, according to Team Manager Quinton Spaulding.
“Logan is a great addition to the team,” said Spaulding. “He brings a lot of energy with his skills on the bike, plus dedication to training.” Binggeli will be competing in regional and national events with the team this year.
Although it is still early in the season, KHS has already caught a glimpse of what Bingeli can do - he placed 4th in downhill at Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, NV and 3rd in 4X at Southridge Winter Series in Fontana, CA.
“Signing with KHS Bicycles makes me feel like I have found a new home in the biking community,” said Binggeli. “I am confident that I have the very best product underneath me, and this will definitely help me to take my racing to the next level in my career.”
Binggeli joins an already talented team comprised of 4-time National Champion Melissa Buhl, Australian National Champion Caroline Buchanan, and 10-time National BMX Champion Dale Holmes in addition to six other talented racers. Buhl, Buchanan, and Holmes have all started the 2008 season with wins.
The KHS Race Team is sponsored by Azonic, Gamut USA, Hayes Disc Brakes, Kenda, Manitou, ODI, SunRingle, Thomson, XFusion, and 5-Hour Energy. The KHS R.A.C.E.R. Program is a “grassroots” racing program designed to help energetic up-and coming racers with sponsorships & racing incentives. For more information visit: www.khsbicycles.com
