they are called free coasters, i couldn't give you a specific hub though.

The freecoaster is like a clutch activated freehub. When you pedal forward you release the clutch that positions the freehub to engage

Actually, its when you pedal backward, that you disengage the clutch. If you're coasting fakie, for example, and you pedal forward at all, you'll lock up the clutch, and the pedals will start turning backward like a normal cassette hub. If you pedal backward, you can disengage it again. I've been running a KHE Geisha MTB for about 4 years myself, opens up a new world of tricks to do, and you often find yourself riding places you normally wouldn't... That said, I'm still not very good at it, not like this guy anyway. What tripped me out, is that I swore I heard a cassette clicking in some shots, so I'm wondering if hes switching out hubs, or if this is similar to that new BMX hub where you can change it from coaster to cassette.

I just checked out some of Ludwig's other edits. I've never seen the lines between 20" & 26" become so blurred. How have I not heard of this guy 'til now? This is video game button mashing shit here. Like hella. Totally amazing stuff bro.

Some do. The thing is that if you're running a 20mm thru axle front end, theres no peg available for that, so you're stuck doing feeble grinds pretty much (front tire on, back peg on) Theres also the issue that a 14mm rear axle is pretty rare in MTB, and our 10mm axles are much more prone to breaking/bending with pegs.
