www.mfxairart.com is stoked to be supporting a full team this year at the SDA and NPS race series and the UK and Scottland. Have a look at their tricked out 224s with the full custom paint jobs.
Well, the first rounds of the two major series of DH races in the UK are finished. The weekend of the 14th and 15th of April saw the first round of the SDA (Scottish) DH series, and the weekend after, the first SPS organized NPS (national) DH series both held at the spiritual home of UK DH Innerliethen.
Part of the buzz of this first round of any sports series is getting to see everyone’s new gear up close, Bikes, helmets, parts and the like are what we all like to drool over, and, like other sports, there’s the new teams, a few of which remain unchanged as the seasons go by and a few who stick out, this year there is a new clutch of riders bearing the CYCLEJERSEY / MFXAIRART name, with the background of the two main contributors being Cycle clothing manufacture and custom helmet painting services, standing out aint a problem!
Riding for the team are Joe Barnes (elite) Chris Hutchens (junior) Chris Coates (expert) and Brian Middleton (master) The guys have already had a couple of podium finishes and top ten results in the first two races of the season.
Riding Custom finished Sparkle painted Orange 224’s sponsored by Orange, Mojo, 661, maxxis, Hope and justridingalong.com. the guys are well kitted out, including custom helmets from mfxairart.com and custom jerseys from thecyclejersey.com to finish the package, the aim of the team is to get the results to push Joe and Chris into a position that they will be picked for the UK team for the world championships to be held in Fort William this year (Joes home town) and to show up at all national races, European UCI rounds and local races gunning for the top step, so if you see the guys at the races give em’ a shout on!!
