The glacier was perfect and the weather was cold and beautiful for perfect race conditions.


Rene Wildhaber made the holeshot and was leading at the start, but crashed hard in the rocks on the glacier. Nico Vouilloz had the lead by 45 seconds at one point but he lost one of his tires in a turn! Karim Amour was in 5th spot 100m before the finish line when he broke his derailleur hanger.

 At least 15, except for the Transvésubienne where you have to be 16.
