@Waldon83 if you look youll find that those times are highly inaccurate compared to what their actual race times will be. For example i doubt Gwin would be 22 minutes off the pace if he was actually trying same with Gee, Stevie, Minaar... @f2002scoob Yaaaaa stevie!!
i have a feeling gee is gonna try real hard to get a win here soo ima put him on top then gwin smith is a wildcard this race u never know minaar and hart
For some reason i want to see Gwin a bit further down the standings, more exciting when the top spot of the podium is wide open! Would also like to see Hill up there, looks like he's getting quicker with each race.
On this track there are lots of other subplots also. Will Hill continue to regain his form on a track he had dominated in the past? How will Ropelato do on the factory team? Will Bruni surprise again? Will Smith get his first WC win on home soil? Will Minnar or Hart step up and make it close or even win or will Gwin completely annihilate the track and by what insane margin? Gwin's winning percentage in big races last year and this year is less than 75% so he is obviously beatable. But Gwin says he loves this track so not this race.
Gwin will win the mens, The others will fight it out for the boys!
Gwin could well be the best rider of all time. Or if you look at the times compared to years past (I know tracks are different), the others have all the new spangly kit they are made to ride, they are just slower on it. ;o)
Gwin will probably take it, he's so well rounded. I love how people talk about the up and coming "young guns" (Hart, Macdonald, Brosnan, Bruni etc...) and make it seem like Gwin has been here forever. Gwin is 25... He easily has 10 more years to cement his reign as G.O.A.T in the sport.
I think gwin has found his maximum strength, i don't think he can improve even more. But hart, bruni, brosnan and all the young guns are just starting to show what they can do. I imagine they could beat gwin in the next season or the other
Last year lots of people were saying everyone would train hard and catch up with Gwin's fitness and start beating him. Instead, Gwin is even faster this year than he was last year and is even more dominant than he was last year. He is still relatively new to DH, even most of the young guys have been racing DH longer than him. Don't be surprised if he gets even faster and learns how to completely dominate even more consistently than he is now.
Would love a Brit to win, Steve peat. Is Rob CAVEMAN Warner doing the commentary??. I certainly do hope so, he kills me. Let's all send our best regards to C.G and wish him a speedy recovery.
God i love that Red Bull and PB are doing this. I've never been into most team sports and never got why people would work their lives around a broadcast schedule, but now i do.
Gwin
Minnar
Gee
Hart
Hill
Ummmmmm, currently the US is in Daylight time, not standard. So for instance the 12:15 PST start time should probably say 1:15 PDT...unless it actually is 12:15 PDT and it's just a typo.
For reference, the Pacific time zone is -7 hours from UTC (GMT) in daylight time.
Haha nobody has any idea when it will happen in NZ. I think it's gonna broadcast when the guy who runs the internet in this small country gets back from milking the cows by hand so that he can eat his 12 weetbix.
I can go the rest of my life without hearing Lopes and his child voice ever again. All he does is pick apart at these guys who are a lot faster then him. He was real bad at 09 Worlds in Ausrtalia. Yeah, yeah he's a great ridier but he has no business commentating.
Gwin had a curry on Sunday night in Fort William, he's still carrying speed from his bowel movements.
I was at a table in the same restaurant, thats how i know!
Hope gwin doesn't win because it would be nice to see him get beat so all Americans can make up excuses because all of them only support the riders from their home country. I am Scottish, but I would love it for Smith or Hill to win only because they are in my top 5.
on the homepage you say you have the times for everywhere, but you dont have newfoundland time, or atlantic time..... however for anyone wondering just add on an hour and a half to the quebec/ontario time for newfoundland, and an hour on the quebec/ontario times for atlantic provinces.
I don`t really care who wins.. I`m just here for the thrill. Gwin is on is on a Gwinning sTREaK, Hart is on fire, Hill is on a comeback, Smith is a LOCAL, Minaar could also do the job with all his experience. I just know it will be interesting to see guys again giving all they`ve got.
Smith isn't so local, he's from the West Coast which is on the other side of the country. Never ridden the west coast but from videos and photos the conditions are pretty different than what we have here on the east coast.
I'm rooting for Smith, hopefully his hand is better
