Mike Steidley Goes Beast Mode In New Haven:Directly after winning his 12th National Trials Championship Mike Steidley came back to his home town, New Haven Connecticut, and went into total beast mode. New Haven is a playground for trials riders, the only problem with it is the police and security guards who keep a close watch over a lot of the best spots. 'We had the police called more times than I can count on this shoot,' says Mike. 'Sometimes they will even make you wipe your memory card and that is horrid.' In order to ride like this Mike usually rides for two hours a day, five days a week, and spends another two days in the gym. After his title though he was taking it easy and just looking for some sick street riding. We'd say he scored on all accounts with this one.

Wild Backyard: Little jaunts on the singletrack around my place in Provence, between Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail. Video Thibaut Grevet.

Kids of Mt. Bachelor Gravity Camp: Wish you had grown up ripping lift service downhill like these kids? Us too. This profile by T-bar Films of the Mt Bachelor Gravity Camp will leave you more than a little jealous of these kids. Remember, start 'em young, and they'll be throwing tail whips by age 10.

Shawn McIntosh - 2014: The intro might be lame but the riding is phenomenal.

The Other Hours: Jeff Brines shot this over the last year in his free time away from the 9-7 grind as a financial analyst and co-running Earlyups. The numbers are as follows - Over the year Jeff skied ~140 days and rode his bike 160+. Snowfall shredded north of 500". Human powered vertical ascended (and descended) was close to the 1 million mark (bike and ski combined). After all that, the high five count was eclipsing 1,000 by even the most conservative estimates. Isn't this the most important metric of anyone's life? We think so...

Sculpted in Time - Trailer: Sculpted in Time, a new series of four shorts by Sherpas Cinema. Shot on location during 30 rigorous days of filming across Banff National Park's three ski areas including a deep dive into its backcountry terrain, this series presents spectacular perspectives on Mt. Norquay (‘The Wise Man’), Lake Louise Ski Resort (‘The Character’), Sunshine Village (The Artist’), and Banff National Park backcountry (‘The Innovator’).

Alex Beaulieu-Marchand - Born to Ski: From diapers to the Dew Tour, freeskier Alex Beaulieu-Marchand has pushed the envelope. In episode 1 of this 3 part series, ABM discusses his passion for skiing and how it fueled the fire to compete at X-games, Dew Tour and the Sochi Winter Olympics.

To The Ends of the Earth - Krystle Wright: “My biggest fear is regret. So I follow my curiosity to the ends of the earth. To capture the fleeting moment, the soul of a place.”

Pretty Faces - Official Trailer: This looks awesome.

"Other Hours" was great. Reminds me of my life -- riding in the summer, skiing in the winter. Love it.

Completely agreed. "Other Hours" is what life is all about. At least that's what it's about for those of us who work to live, not live to work.

Shawn McIntosh Vid is excellent. Riders who spin both clockwise and counter clockwise are so much more interesting to watch than people who only turn left on the catwalk.
