At first our goal was scouting zones on the mountain for our upcoming video and testing my new camera, but, since we lucked out with the fog, we decided to make this short edit. Hope you like it!

Killjoy - Mike Aitken: Wow, it's unbelievable seeing Aitken recover from his crash. Always wear a helmet.

Blake Jorgenson Shoots Crankworx Joyride: The role of official photographer for the whole of Crankworx is a mixed blessing - on the one hand you get premium access to the best Whistler has to offer for those nine days, but on the other it's a long, hard and stressful job that takes nerves of steel and stamina to match. Thankfully Blake Jorgenson is up to the job. In his second year on the run at the job, he's dialled in a system that works and produces great results. Having been in the same position myself a couple of years earlier, I was keen to shadow him for a day of shooting the festival's main event - the Joyride slopestyle contest - to portray what it's like to have to shoot and submit images that become the official record of the day.

It wasn't for that solid 7, I can tell you that... OK that was mean, I apologize. Here's a tight video of a guy sending the Pikes Peak climb in under 10 minutes which is insane. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTiTPAusog4&feature=player_embedded!

1:48 on the "KHS" vid is the best thing I've seen all week. Wink WOW!!!!!!! What a seat cover... The KHS DH frame is looking pretty tight. It's crazy to think it's "just some catalog frame"...kinda makes you re-think things a bit. I'd really love to throw a leg over one to see how they ride. Anyone know of any good reviews of the new DH bike??? It's been out for a year or two but I've never read anything about it.

Lots of good videos. One thing I noticed though is that Mike wears his hoodie over his helmet in most of the shots. Can't believe that he is still trying to hide that he wears a helmet. He needs to stand up proudly and get others to wear helmets. Not everyone is as lucky as him to recover from such a horrendous injury #StephenMurray...

The kids in the street just want to be like the pros, so until the pros wear helmets, BMX is gonna have an uphill battle on helmets. But I don't understand why the pros as a whole wouldn't wear a helmet, all it does is help ensure you can keep doing what you love, for longer...

I think you'll find that in the winter it gets cold, and when its cold, having exposed ears is quite uncomfortable. Do you honestly think that MIKE AITKEN would purposely wear a hoodie to hide the fact that he is wearing a helmet... Give your head a shake. He has openly said many times on the record that he will always wear a helmet from now on and fully endorses the idea of everyone getting on the bandwagon....

F**k you one industries and your bullsh*t beyond blatant advertising, I wont buy your sh*t. The music and riding was average for such a high caliber rider anyway. That is all. I feel much better now.

Notice he only wears a helmet after his crash. I can't understand why all pros don't wear them and set a good example to all the young kids gettin into BMX and look up to those guys?
