This is a tale of epic adventure. A tale of seven brave riders who set out from the four corners of the globe to gather together under one roof in a town located at the ends of the earth. A tale with no beginning and no end, but where a few things happen in between. Things like eel fights. Yeah that’s right... f’n eel fights. So watch this movie. Why? NotBad is the new short film from Anthill Films, the crew who brought you The Collective, Roam, Seasons, Follow Me, and Strength in Numbers. Starring Brandon Semenuk, Brook MacDonald, Brett Rheeder, Cam McCaul, Andrew Shandro, René Wildhaber and Ryan Howard. Channeling the vibe of early skate and snowboard films, NotBad is all about breaking mountain biking down to its truest essence – having fun on your bike.

Based in Queenstown, New Zealand, the crew and riders were able to access a huge diversity of locations, from epic alpine singletrack, to the dirt-jump heaven at the Gorge Road jumps, to building mind-bending stunts on the famous Frew Farm. Throw in an unlimited number of extra-curricular activities, a fully stocked mansion, plus five cameras rolling at all times, and the perfect conditions were in place to capture some good times.

Everyone is invited to check out the full 30-minute film by tuning in for the free online premiere starting at 10:00am PST to 11:59pm PST on July 29th. Non-profit screening events are taking place in select locations to help raise funds for the mountain bike community starting July 15th.

 A front end suspension assembly on a bike is a "fork" (singular) and its model could thus be a "Boxxer" or "Domain" (singular). So Brandon is riding a Blackbox Boxxer, not Boxxers. He probably doesn't want more than one fork on his bike. In addition, the slider portions of a fork are called "stanchions." Not "sanctions" (trade bans) or "stantions" (not a real word).

 excatly what i thought and fyi dude if you run a ''boxxer'' fork you're running boxxers,...it would be boxxer (singular!) if only one ''boxxer'' fork existed,..........so as more than one ''boxxer'' fork is in existence you are their for running some boxxer forks or boxxers,..........now please don't reply and take up any space in my dashboard it will be very annoying for you too argue against this so good night

 And that my friends, is why I'm finally after 8 years of being in Canada, moving home... Kiwiland lifestyle rocks. Un-beatable outdoors go hard, have a laugh, enjoy life to the nth'degree in fantastic scenery living large with your mates. Oh and the IT scene isn't that bad either it seems so for any other IT/Dev dude/ettes..... why go to the valley ? Why not come to NZ ? Auckland has some great trails 30mins out of the city with a wicked bike park... Queenstown is a short flight away.

 The Luge. Awesome. There's one in Rotorua (www.skyline.co.nz/rotorua/ssr_luge) and Queenstown (www.skyline.co.nz/queenstown/Hours) Good chance you'll get some decent road rash giving it 11/10ths.

 they're all fun and games until they shut down chairlifts to bikes so that the tourons can pay $12/ride like they did at COP. Also the longest track in the world is still only ~110m vert.

 Ya, they look like a lot of fun, but in reality they're not very fast, steep, or long. Kind of a waste of money in my opinion. :/

 Dang, I'm kinda bummed to hear that. Ideally they wouldn't share a lift with bikes. The slides that I've seen here don't. And I know the slide here are bigger than 110 meters. Still they don't give the option to steer, just speed up slow down. :/

 it's a bit of a fiasco. Main shuttle hill for the city is inaccessible since the flooding, and the start of their season was already delayed by...construction of the skyline. The other lift they are going to use for the bikes still needs some work done around it before it can open up. The small hill is owned by a company who exists to develop olympic athletes, but I guess you can get money faster out of a bunch of chumps, than some stingy mountain bikers.
