I thought i'd look at the comments and see everyone having a go for it not being rough enough. Those trails look FKN AMAZING!!! Bit of a trip for me though.... For me this is what Enduro is all about, fun trails with a good atmosphere.

Killer vid, killer track, killer riding. Very effective marketing for both Ashland and Santa Cruz. Now I want to ride there, and that Nomad looks like a sick trail bike.

Riddle is the man!! What up Teach!

konabrother1 thanks for the information, that is what I mean, is a FR track showing an Enduro race, some people could give a try to Enduro but can be intimidated seeing this king of track and jumps, nothing against these Series of Enduro, I like this kind of riding also and I has been doing DH, so I know what I am speaking..nothing bad against these Series... Peace and lets keep pushing this kind of riding all around the globe.

(Jun 21, 2013 at 14:46)

Charging it! Trails looks like a blast. Wish I was able to go like the other two past OR enduros, but will be staying home babysitting instead (:.
(Jun 23, 2013 at 21:34)
This was martys trail not the enduro course and stop trying to make enduro better
(Jun 23, 2013 at 22:29)
Yep. Cool video but not a preview of the race route. A bit misleading. And dang those jumps look a lot smaller in the video than in real life.
(Jun 24, 2013 at 10:14)
Yeah, what's up with that? Came here this am to see this preview after having raced this weekend. These are not at all the trails we raced on.

Slow mo is for momos-- That was some rippin fast dirty ridin
(Jun 21, 2013 at 13:44)
The most anticipated edit of enduro, it shows the flowy of riding. Hope all enduro racing edit will be like this.....
(Jun 21, 2013 at 16:10)
Looks like a lot of fun !
(Jun 22, 2013 at 0:19)
basically an XC kitted rider shredding with downhill style some AM trails...
(Jun 21, 2013 at 13:45)
This course is going to be so fun. So bummed I can't do any of the early series. Stupid broken thumb.
(Jun 21, 2013 at 14:21)
Best trails ive ever ridden! camped there last week and cant wait to go shred it again.
(Jun 21, 2013 at 19:46)
Can you give me directions on how to get to those trails? Doing a trip that way in Nov. I'd appreciate it!
(Jun 22, 2013 at 22:28)
i live there, shoot me a message and ill give ya some info ...
(Jun 23, 2013 at 16:28)
There's a LOT of great trails down there... I worked many fires down in S.Oregon and on average the terrain is STEEP.
(Jun 24, 2013 at 9:31)
except the rock garden, in Italy that's considered XC and even that rocky section is not that much...
(Jun 21, 2013 at 21:26)
That trail is sooo prime!!! Looks like awesome fun
(Jun 21, 2013 at 23:43)
now this is real trail shredding!

Enduro should have jumps, he's not even wearing a full face, if you want beginners, then go XC and progress, learn to ride, you don't move mtns on ski fields because of muppets, don't and stop dumbing down our sport, its as bad as removing features on a trail you find to hard to ride, or creating and alternative line and destroying the trail, Enduro,is not that, Enduros are supposed to be tough, technically. Besides Im sure they're are bypases, the weak should be punished and the strong be rewarded for the risks, dam PC problem is spreading to mtb everywhere, so sick of it!
(Jun 22, 2013 at 1:40)
what? sorry bud but my english is bad, yours on the other hand I can't understand
(Jun 22, 2013 at 8:05)
maverick you are an idiot. yeah, I reduced myself to name calling. A race is a race. The riders will be timed on a course, and they are going to call it enduro, get over it. Enduro is just a trendy term, its a stage race. Ashland is a great place to ride in a state that is full of good riding. We have laws in the US that prevent us from building trails in a lot of alpine areas and backcountry areas. So maybe it isnt the most technical course, so what? Come ride the Oregon enduro series, im thinking you probably dont do too well.
(Jun 21, 2013 at 14:54)
I could hit all those on my dj...........
(Jun 22, 2013 at 1:42)
yes, but that's not the point
(Jun 21, 2013 at 12:04)
Weeeeell..... Is this "Enduro" or Downhill?.. because if these jumps and gaps will be in the racetrack looks like the organizers need some guidance about track selection if they want to get close to the Enduro World Series. Just a critic for people that doesn't like jumps avoid get involved in Enduro racing as a nice option. Cheers and keep going good!
(Jun 21, 2013 at 12:34)
I'm pretty sure it's enduro dude, and the course is not that crazy.
(Jun 21, 2013 at 13:53)
Jumping skills are a part of mountain biking, especially the gravity side of riding. Enduro is a gravity discipline, so being able to jump is part of the equation. Nathan wasn't hitting those jumps on a DH bike, and they're not too big for a 5-6" trail bike. The 1st jump is a mellow double, the 2nd jump is a sender with a wide open landing. No problem.
(Jun 21, 2013 at 14:42)
I dont know what the rules are for enduro world series but if a rider doesnt want to do the jumps im sure theres a easy way around, but it will cost him extra seconds.
(Jun 21, 2013 at 15:19)
I still think to separate Enduro from DH is to race it blind, meaning no practice, or not have time to check out the course. Of course the locals would have an advantage.
(Jun 21, 2013 at 16:09)
yeah but race it blind is quiet dangerous when you go 50km/h and jump those things
(Jun 21, 2013 at 17:59)
I am racing the Ashland enduro this weekend and it's on none of the trails in this video. Kinda stupid how they didnt show the trails for the enduro race, and put all the freeride trails in the vid. The the real course is somewhat pedaly, and not very jumpy, Just very fast and flowy.. and dry...
(Jun 21, 2013 at 19:54)
Oregon can't win... One minute doods are crying, saying the course looks like an XC trail, the next they're crying cause it has jumps in it. Get over it! Sorry we're not perfect like your little Euro enduro wonderland...
