MTBco launches series of trail cleanup events.
On a damp, cool windy Sunday morning five hardened members of MTBco (Mountain Bikers of the Central Okanagan) gave up some precious riding time and cleaned up the whole forest service road area adjacent to the Powers Creek drop in line.

Look out for more trail clean up days, starting at Gillard Forest Service Road on Sunday May 25th. There's three times the amount of garbage there, and the service road is twice as long. So, local Central Okanagan riders, we really need your help. Please give us some of your free time !

Dave gets, uhm, Dirty...
Justin and Brant clean up garbage we prepared for collection last fall. Now just a few months later, it had twice the garbage accumulated.
This truck looks much better when loaded with DH bikes...this time, the rear window wasn't broken.
The Kelowna Premiere for Seasons, the new film by The Collective, is Friday, May 16th at the Kelowna Community Theatre. Doors at 7pm, show at 8.
THE COLLECTIVE CREW WILL BE HOSTING THIS EVENT!

Good work! Great to see a crew putting together more than one clean up day and trying to get the rest of us lazy riders to help. Common folks lend a hand!

You're right - there was a few beer cans and plastic water bottles around the drop ins but that was minimal. 99% of the crapfest was household junk.
