Semenuks run put my faith and interest back into slope style. To me in the last years it has been to focused on doing the most insane tricks , regardless of how smoothly executed and well landed it was , but this run was packed with insane moves and with a Trails type flow and style to it . In my opinion his run was as close to perfect as you can get.

semunuk didnt even need to push himself too hard to win, i wish messere didnt fall and forced brandon to giver

True, he can do more. But maybe it was the course.. only he can tell. And i must say also, the course was sicker a few years ago. but ey, maybe we are pushing the bar to high.. this is already HUGE!

In my opinion the course looked good but the course was to short. And i miss the drop out of the forest were berrecloth did a huge 360 in 2005. Another thing i want to say is that i dont agree with you bigburd, 15 year old messere shows what this is all about, pushing it with hardcore style. We all know what got all of us pumped, it was his run, becouse he blew us away. A run like semenuk did is good for the points but wasnt any new for us. But i still have to say i like semenuk more now then before and he deserves the win, plus he has awesome style!

id have to say i agree with bigburd. big tricks are nice, but i hate when tricks are givin to people when theyve barely rode it out. example would be the frontflip whip in best trick video where he just happens to sit on the bike. i love watching big tricks but when you have such flow and all tricks dialed like brandon, that takes my full respect

brycebiking101, thats what i was commenting on teva best trick video and a guy wrote a comment, step 1: negprop dusters comment, he got 34 + props, and a top position comment. I got 134 neg props!

I agree with you, he's tricks were crazy but the style wasnt good.

I believe he won it for his double downside 360 whip and not the front whip...

After NWD10, everyone knew he'd be busting those out in competition this year. I wasn't really surprised. that being said, I wasn't any less stoked when he busted it out!

I thought it was a great course, I mean the riders did design the course. People are saying they didn't like the course but that is what the riders like to ride. Great contest and the judges got it right. Cant wait till next year.

Totally insane moves by the riders!! How far can the sport evolve...... At only 15 God knows how good he will be by the time he's 20!! As for crashing its all about pushing yourself and crashes are bound to happen ...... its all about progression!! :-D

One of the craziest crankworx events to this date ! Every rider was throwing down , I kinda thought Messere was going to throw a tuck at the hip boost, it looked like he was tucking . Thanks to all the riders who made it crazy ! Cant wait for next year

Sounds like the announcer snorted a line of crack before the event.

I know i'll probs get loads of neg props for this, but tbh I think the course was way better last year
  • 7 0
Haha no neg props but I think last years course was too focused on features and not on jumps, this one was far more jumpy and flowy. Also less riders crashed this year, whereas last year many riders crashed because of the difficulty of the course.
  • 2 0
to me it seems more riders crashed this year, especially during the super finals and the second runs
  • 2 0
yeh i thought more crashed this year, and yeh i supposed thats what i prefered about it last year how it was mainly features and not many normal jumps
  • 2 0
the corse was biult alot better for the riders to be able to push them selves more and throw down the course was supposed to be mega trickable i loved it compared to last year
