Red Bull Canada is excited to announce the addition of freestyle mountain bike phenom, Anthony Messere to the athlete program. Anthony has been tearing up jumps and tracks around his home in Surrey, BC since he kicked the training wheels off his first bike. By the time he reached 10-years-old, Anthony was already being featured on industry websites and recognized as the next prodigy in mountain biking. Fast-forward 5 years, Anthony has progressed exponentially and worked hard to be the best he could be, simultaneously becoming one of the best in the world. In 2011, he squeaked into Red Bull Joyride in Whistler, BC and landed in 3rd place, sharing the podium with Red Bull Canada team mate Brandon Semenuk.
Anthony’s 16th Birthday will mark a milestone in his journey as he joins the Red Bull ranks.
This is the beginning of my career and there's a lot ahead of me - lots to look forward to. Red Bull opens the door to so many opportunities to do so many different things, and ride with so many different people at the same level. i have to agree with DHnewboy hes better than any of us will probably ever be, but ive met him and he is an asshole. That being said i know a few people that know him well and they all say hes a decent guy once you get to know him...
he might be an extremely talented rider, but the way he's ben depicted by most of the coverage I've seen makes him look like such a douche. I feel bad for the kid, its hard to get good PR at that age when everyone who represents you also feel threatened by you... or he could just be a douche, but I like to try and think positively about people.
Carbonlite... The little man is actually a pretty good kid for being 16 and in his position. Don't feel bad for the kid. Something tell me he will do just fine. I haven't seen much other media coverage of him, but I don't think he's depicted as a douche at all in this video. For a 16 year old, I think he's quite well spoken and represented himself quite well. A lot better than many athletes much older than him as well.
I saw him at AT Showdown and he's not a douche. He took a lot of hard falls trying to land that fronflip-tuck no-hander and when he did it he wasn't bragging or celebrating or anything. He has the talent and the determination to get stuff done. And so what if you've seen a little ego from him? What would you expect when everyone calls him a phenom. (I also meant to pos prop smike.)
Cybyrd3. I'm sure hope youve met him, had several conversations, and maybe taken him on a couple dates before you make statements like that. Haha. Your probably the kid who sat on his bike in the corner at the jumps while he was there or something...
Ha, sure I'll admit I have, but there's a line between 'stalking' to find out who someone is and stalking to look at 'nice nurse outfit' photos... imagine if it was your girlfriend people were posting links to on here.
I just went on his page and it's like, "Anthony's in a relationship with such and such" so I clicked that and she was in a nurse outfit. That was all the stalking I did.

Besides, if I can see it anyone can. What if she's out and about looking for a job? An employer is surely going to look at her Facebook and stalk as much as possible. Luckily for her, she had privacy settings on. However, she's still in a nurse outfit which doesn't exactly scream, "Hire me!" to an employer.
It's not, really. All I did was type in Anthony's name to Facebook to see if he had a personal account with mutual friends because he lives in my area and I noticed his girlfriend was in a nurse outfit. It was simple to do. It's not like I spent all day garnering codes to break his password to see everyone's information.
I just like how everyone's all, "Oh, why would you stalk this guy's girlfriend?" If you've ever been on someone's profile before, chances are you might click someone elses page that pops up because it caught your eye.
Everyone does this. I don't see how my case is all that unique.

Maybe a bit cocky but he's on REDBULL at 16? He's got every right to think highly of himself ? He's a great athlete and A great person he kills it harder then the whole PB community give the kid a break Jesus christ!
That wasn't a COMPLAINT, that was ENCOURAGEMENT for the company and ALL the atheletes they support! There's really not one RB sport I don't enjoy watching.... I am an AVID air race fan, I love the wingsuit teams, I (obv) support the MTB sponsorships...
I saw this video earlier today and someone posted a comment saying "One time i was at a party and this kid was there smoking a cig. some girl asked him for one and he said "yeah, for a blowjob." she got pissed and called him a f*g, once she started to walk away he followed her and punched her in the face." If that's true then I'm no longer a fan of his.
