The last round of the World Cup took place in Hafjell, Norway. The track was one of the best this year and featured a mix of sections; from big jumps and hucks, to technical rock gardens. When the time mattered Stevie Smith put down a great run, securing him his 1st World Cup win. Filmed and Edited by: Chris Seager

No coverage of Gwingate, and Shimano's stone-walling, but otherwise a superb video.

Already can't wait to see Gwin & Stevie battle it out next year, but with the Maple leaf momentum going his way, I have a feeling it might be a Canadian Chainsaw Massacre!

Also look forward to seeing Danny Hart and Branigan coming back strong, and the return of Peaty to show the young Brits how it's done in the tough stuff.

Too bad next years course's will be somewhat timid in comparison to this years

DUDE!! Drop the attack against shimano alright? They haven't done anything to harm you, so get over it!

There is the program for next year so far, not too sure about the timid comment. Maybe a reference to Willingen which was pretty smooth last time they raced it a few years ago judging by footage from one of the earthed movies.

FINALLY!!!!! We have seen Sam Hill more than 1 second, in a technical part and without slowmotion!!!!! Thanks god!!!! Everybody talks about "Sam Hill is a master when it comes at lines" ... Well... Film the rock gardens then!!!! That's what I was waiting for, and not a single second of Sam in that rock garden...

Why do they have so few slow mo shots of the wheel contact/suspension? Just that riders upper bodies and goggles aren't really the bit that contains the action, or the bit that we can really learn much from...

In case you're wondering film makers, excessive slo-mo sucks, but fragments of super slo-mo is awesome.

Stoked for Devinci! Stoked for Steve. Super nice guy. As others have mentioned, a battle next year between Smith and Gwin would be epic, but even more so would be if Minaar and Atherton both found just a little more speed, Hill returns to what he was, Peat stays uninjured, and Byrceland and Beaumont get consistent and faster. That would be an epic season!!!!!

I think Rob Warner mentioned something about that in one of the recent races (I want to say Val d'Isère), but I'm afraid I can't remember what it was about...a charity of some kind.

I think it is in support of the points changes to the women, they're showing support for the girls who are protesting to the UCI

It's nice, but most off the video is during the qualifications, not during the real race!!Look at the public at the road gap, there is nobody, but I was there for the race, it was full of spectators!!!!

i think the uci are pretty gay about where you can film on raceday. Thats what ive read on places like dirt and vital anyway

@ 2:12 you can see that Brook MacDonald is not using the zero stem and Mondrakers new forward geometry

flag rad1cal (Oct 2, 2012 at 16:44)
I'd love to know if thats a 2012 or the new forward geo 2013 frame, if it is the 2013, what size frame is he running - M or L and does he not like the zero stem and how twitchy it could be. Ragot uses a £200 or $250 steering damper and the zero stem
