So I’m in my truck's bed ready for bed, canopy over head. I’m in my sleeping bag, about ready to call it a day, I guess I could call it day three of my Trials of Life Canadian tour. Day 1, I drove most of the way across BC to Cranbrook, spent the night, and then performed at a local middle school; grabbed lunch with Scott from Gerick Sports before driving to Lethbridge.
I met up with Lon from Ascent Cycle for a super spicy hot curry chicken soup. Whew, only just recovered! (It's great meeting the locals and eating the best local food!). He set up two school performances for me in town, which was today, and they went awesome. Then I drove to Red Deer, Alberta where I find myself at a campground, resting up for a shop demo tomorrow at Bike Werx. Whew, covering some distance on this first leg of the tour, and am really happy with the way it has started off.
April 28th,
Just finished two shows at Bike Werx in Red Deer Alberta, nice an windy, my tent almost blew away with two bikes hanging from it, and a table attached to it. Made the first show challenging, but quite enjoyable, elements like heavy rain, snow, and wind are actually kinda fun to perform in!!
Here’s a
link to an interview I did in Whistler last week, enjoy!
