If you answered yes, then just follow the rules below!
1. Submit a letter to contest@ryanleech.com describing why your school is the best recipient of a complimentary Trials of Life presentation by Ryan Leech. Maybe your school is low in Spirit, or perhaps there is a challenging problem at the school and some extra inspiration is needed. Who knows what the reason is, as long as it's a good one you've got a shot at being the reason why Ryan Leech visits your school. So if your school is a good fit, let us know why!
2. Important! Obtain permission from your school's principal for the presentation, which will be on March 11, 2009. Be sure to show them the above video of "Trials of Life Ryan Leech" and show them what the presentation is all about. If they have further questions, ask them to view www.trialsoflife.com or www.ryanleech.com.
3. In the letter, be sure to include: -Your Name -Principals Name (with confirmed permission for the potential show) -School Name -School Address -School's Phone Number
*Upon choosing a winner, we will contact the principal directly. So be sure the principal is educated about the contest and the presentation as mentioned above—if the principal doesn't know anything about it, then your efforts with the letter may be deemed void!
*Contest Entry Deadline is February 16. The winner will be announced on February 23.
*If you're a teacher, get involved! Ask your riding enthusiast students to write a letter.
Ryan Leech is a Professional Mountain Biker sponsored by Norco Bikes, Shimano Components, Ryders Eyewear, Marzocchi Shocks, and Mace Clothing . He'll be performing trials shows and speaking at the Toronto International Bike show on March 13-15, 2009.
I'm gonna ask my principal! Although I doubt she'd say yes. Me and a bunch of my friends are serious mountain bikers and i know lots of kids at my school would defenitly become mountain bikers if ryan came to my school. He's such an inspiration to anyone. Good job and thanks!
he came to our school last year ( it helped our principal loved biking). It was a really sick show and all the bikers at our school were stoked. He is the nicest most down to earth guy, i helped him set up and take stuff down, and he was so chill and let us ride his bikes and gave us shirts and stickers. If you get the chance to have him at your school then you really are lucky.
sweeeet im definitly entering this contest my school is such a bore these days we could use something like this im a huge fan of ryan leech ive never got to meet him yet i missed him at last years toronto bike show well fingers crossed*
great instruction video is the Art of Trials. The extras on the off road stuff is all I bought it for but the main instructions is for trials stuff. great!!!!!! thanks Ryan!!!!!
It would be nice if you come to slovenija. We need more presentation of this sport in our country. I think that is great what you`re doing for the kids. P.S: Nice move.
They may be able to do a few better tricks and stunts, but can they do it while mic'd up in front of 400 kids? If the answer is yes, they should be going around to talk to young kids as well, if not, then you're comparing apples to oranges....
