Summer Gravity Camps jumped on board this year to sponsor the amateur jump jam comp at the Santa Cruz Mountain bike festival. The winner of the comp walked away with a free week at camp! SGC coaches Cam McCaul, Ryan "R-Dog" Howard and Kyle Jameson judged the comp and picked the winner.

bigquotesThe SGC jump comp at the post office jumps in Aptos was super fun and I can't wait to learn and progress with some sick coaches at the Summer Gravity Camp this summer! So stoked to have a opportunity to visit Whistler and shred for a week at Summer Gravity Camp! - Luke Rivas, Jump Jam Winner

bigquotesEvery time I go to post office it blows my mind to see how many good young kids there are making it through the jumps with style and tricks. When Shandro came up with the idea to give away a week at SGC to one of the riders in the amateur competition at the Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival I knew it was going to be a tough call to choose the winner. Luckily, one kid came out and pushed himself that extra mile to turn our heads. Luke Rivas did his first backflip dirt to dirt during his heat at the jam. Because of that, he'll be celebrating in Whistler this summer by learning even more skills during his week at SGC. - Cam McCaul

bigquotesIf this was actually the last Post Office jam at the Santa Cruz MTB festival, it was one to remember! Tons of young kids riding so well, with their parents there supporting them. It is good to see that that mountain biking scene in Aptos isn't going anywhere soon! - Ryan "R-Dog" Howard

bigquotesSanta Cruz MTB festival was a blast, lots of stoked people on bikes. I had a lot of fun working with Cam and R-Dog, hand selecting our next SGC camper. It was not an easy task, but we all feel real happy with our decision. - Kyle J

wow i cant believe that was the last sesh at the office.it just sucks that someone would want to destroy so many hard working hours and memorys that have been put into that place. a very sad day in the mtb and bmx world. good bye and thnx for all the memories.

As if Redbull or Fox hasn't put their hand up to buy the lot...

not the last sesh... just the last jam for a festival. I'm sure the death of PO will blow up the PB frontpage once it's closer. I think it's got a couple of months left

They have been saying it was gonna be the last session or contest there for years.

It's a rumor that they might be taking them down at the end of summer, or at least that's what I heard people say there. But we don't know. Fingers crossed they don't.
