"Prototype" WTB Vigilante 2.3 - very Muddy Mary like.
Camp of Champions Air Bag is a hit at all events. Jeremy from Virgin, Utah came all the way to the Sea Otter Classic just to hit the air bag.
Ride SFO always has a good presence with their store and lounge area at the Sea Otter Classic - if you're in the Bay area, check them out.

And Kashima coating on a truck... yea, that would lass less than probably the first 2 seconds of usage.
After a weekend out with my truck, my shocks are pretty much coated with mud and dust. Nothing any coating in this world will ever be able to handle.
hahahaha I tought it was a joke
so........650b......thats a fair few companies trying this hocuspocus out. I really do feel like its the Emperor's new clothes... give it a year or 2 and all the companies will be saying how many more advantages a smaller wheel has than 29er. blah blah blah blah blah
bleawh!!!! For me a mountainbike will always be defined by the fact it has 26inch wheels.
yes nobody can deny a bigger wheel rolls over bumps easier. but thats all they are good for nothing else.
29 and 650b all equal - weaker wheel, slow accelleration, less manouevrability, harder to wheelie, harder to bunny hop. but hey if riding firetrack roads is your thing then go for it. but on my trails 29ers suck. I was finally vindicated in this at the weekend at a race at my local xc venue which is reknowned for its tight technical terrain, roots and mud. a 29er dude jumped infront of me as part of a team where i was solo, he had fresh legs, I was 2hrs into my race....he nuked me on the fireroad, but on all the singletrack sections (up,down and on the level) his his bike was useless . i made a pact to my self to work like a bastartd to not to let this freakazoid beat me, but it was pitiful i didnt have to work at all to pass him. On some tight corners he was practically foot down lifting the front wheel round in places, and again on the steeps and again on muddy climbs fail fail fail!, but alas i was humbled every time he reappeared on the fire track ripping past me.
until i see a DHer winning on a 29er/650b on a mans track then you will never ever convince me
ZEE brakes are ZEE best, if you are ZEE rider on ZEE budget. Starting to like that childish name.
I'm no fanboy for another brand, but when reliability is your primary focus (park environment, racing, budget et al) SRAM just haven't fulfilled my expectations.
Anyone remember that Cortina DH tandem where the guy on the back was blind?!!! Awesome
The Nema Player helmet looks pretty much like a Kabuto helmet but cheaper, am I right?
And a Boxxer to fit them?!
