Thank you to everyone who donated to Share the Ride. 1453 people from 41 different countries pitched in for a total of $41,426 in contributions! Our goal was $25,000, but thanks to you guys we crushed that. It's great to know that mountain bikers around the world are dedicated to sharing their passion for the sport by joining our cause.

Share the Ride Vancouver 2013
Our final Christmas distribution happened in Vancouver, BC. With the help of Family Services of Greater Vancouver, The Britannia Community Centre and the Richmond Youth Services Agency we were able to get over 80 kids on brand new bikes!

The action started early in the morning with bike mechanics from Norco Bicycles, Mighty Riders, Arbutus Routes, Dunbar Cycles, The Bikeroom and many many other wonderful individuals who came to build the Trek, Giant, and Norco bicycles we had for the kids.

After stickering their helmets the kids got to pick an ABUS lock from the Christmas tree.

ya i am really glad i donated to this it sure is amazing to see their smiles and know they will have the best adventures of their lives on these bikes.

Im not sure why there is concern or issue that Jordie Lunn won something? He is a normal (well mostly normal in a Denis Rodman kind of way) dude that works for a paycheck and if he donated he is just as deserving as myself or anyone else who donated to win. Thats pretty rad to win twice on this but hey you can with the lotto and the bonus numbers I guess right... Good biking vibes to all that donated and keep remembering the point of this fund raiser. To put kids that might not get into biking, into biking. Goal achieved Id say there Mr. Tippie and gang! Way to go...
