As for the battle, props to the slopestyle crew. Steez factor was through the roof! But my vote goes to the downhillers. Call me biased, but shredding that hard in that kinda of weather is pretty impressive. Speaking of impressive, that manual at the end was just that! Gotta give it up to the Dutch bros!

Its funny how DH is currently winning the vote but if you scroll down the page Slopestyle voter comments are the only ones getting major props. Seems as though some people care way to much about the poll lol. Awesome video, I have never really gotten into slopestyle so it is hard for me to judge how hard certain segments or tricks are. On the DH side, those sections even looked steep and gnarly in the video. So you KNOW they are crazy in person.

Front flips, back flips... with Steaz... Slopestyle has the casual cool factor and the technical tricks, but I never liked riding in jeans.
Roots, rocks, jumps, corners, speed, technical lines, 8" travel big bikes.... DH has it all but I've never liked riding in bright colored pajamas....

The Downhill did it for me.. but the flips and stuff was cool anyhow. Dude wish i had a bike park near me..When i ride here is Spain, i spend 3 hours hiking the local mountain with my dh bike in 35c heat, sometimes 40c. I Have to take food n haul 6 to 7 litrs of water on my back with ful face and carry it all to the top. By the time i am 2,800mts to the top, all the food and water is gone! I chill at the top for half n hour, let the sweat cool off, check out the view.. Then shred a long 25/30 min mega rocky downhill run all the way to the bottom!!!!! Mega sweat fest on the way up.. but so worth it for the long Dh run plus the view. Love bikes so much aha!

i think some were between the two. the smooth flowy style of the slope stylers but but with less of the insane tricks. as mind blowing as they are very few of us can do them and they dont flow as well. so really just downhill trains on a smooth flowy trail if it sunny is the best fun. just chilling with mates.

Man, Canada has crazy trails. Just because all you see are A-line/Dirt merchant flow trails in videos doesnt mean that is all that is here. There are seriously gnarly trails in Whistler/Sun peaks/all the bike parks. And especially in places you would not expect. There are all different types of bikes trails everywhere here. So much variation.

Im sorry, but slopestyle guys ripped waaaay harder. DH videos these days are mostly just videos of guys going around corners in slow motion with roost. Those slpestyle guys killed it.
