yep...most coverage is from crankworks... it's a shame for MSA worldcup....

The crankworx canadian open DH should be the world cup race instead of MSA - the course is world class standard and I'm sure the DH athletes would love it! With the Enduro World Series making it one of their stops, I hope it's just a matter of time before the DH calendar jumps on board and realizes it's fantastic for the sport of mountain biking to showcase so many aspects of the sport at one time.

dude, MSA wc is one of the oldest on the circuit + crankworks already have loads of proper events. They should just put nothing at the same time of crankworks since all the athletes must be there...

The Canandian open is FAR from a world class DH. It is too short and is not as technical enough to be even considered for a World Cup. Just wait though. Rumour is that since we are holding a national event for the Canadian open ( Canada cup finals) in two years time ( since 2014 schedule is already done) Whistler will attempt to host a World Cup. The track will most likely be a new one down to Creekside. Making it long enough and rad enough to be a world class race. MSA is by far the most prestigious North American World Cup ever BTW.

That would be sick. The terrain there is certainly technical. Imagine a fresh RDS style track *dreams*
