Steve Romaniuk aka Romo Stills

I have met a lot of rad people since my introduction to the mountain bike scene back in the high school days. A lot of inspiration comes from people that are so passionate about what they do. I have been inspired with not only the amazing riding I have witnessed but also, how amazing it is to capture that riding. Inspired by the shows I have worked with and the people who capture it, I needed to try some these roles first hand. Working as co producer with my partner Mike Kinrade producing the web show STUND I have also taken on the role for the show as lifestyle photographer.

I first got into professional photography when I started working allot with guys like Harookz and Sterling Lorence. I remember how rad of a feeling it would be to land a big air and then how much rader it was to see how much bigger they made it look! haha. I recently had the chance to cover Redbull Elevation. A premier BMX dirtjump comp held in Whistler B.C. Amazing!


I snaked my way in for a media pass and there I was. Sitting next to about 50 "colleague's". I only made it to Whistler just as the finals of the comp were firing up. Myself and Ryan Schnepf had what we would call a leisurely morning. But the results were wicked! Im in deep for about 5 grand of camera gear now thanks to Harookz helping me spend more money. I wanted to do something with the shots. So here ya go! Nice work teammate Claw on tapping into the top 10!
