I was talking to Steve Romaniuk last week about his winter season and what he's got on the go for this upcoming season. We chatted about sponsor changes, shuttle trucks, events and life in general. Steve decided to put it all on paper so that everyone could see what he's got in the works for the coming months and what he did this winter.

-I thought I would do a spring update and share with everyone some exiting news. This winter I partnered with a local media company to help expand my profile. Together we created
SteveRomaniuk.com. I hope you guys like it and be sure to click more in the photo gallery to check out the Flickr page. I even have my own blog where you are able to tune in and post questions. Thanks to Mark at

SteveRomaniuk.com -I also spent the off season revamping my suspension for 2010. After some product testing on the hottest new platforms I ended up talking with Rich and Manitou. He had explained to me how they spent the last 3 years revamping the Dorado with a hired tech from Showa motocross suspension. I was straight away interested in testing the fork and he sent the invert up my way. A few weeks later and lots of shredding I had found a product that I fell in love with and a new home for 2010.
-Then I began looking into rear dampeners that would fit in my Mongoose. I ended up with another Motocross inspired product through Tony at Elka suspension. The new mountain bike shocks have been blowing everyone away and the reliability is there too.
-Biggest Plans for 2010 are filming for the Sequel of Rockstar Energy drink's "Barred for Life".
-I am heading to Cyprus in the Mediterranean on the 28th of May for an episode of "Ride Guide TV", it'll air in 35 countries around the world! It should be a nice change from the movie sets and back to my roots with "Drop In TV"!

Redbull Rampage 2010 -Riding the event and helping design the course with Sebi and the boys at Chatel Mountain style in France. Last year this big mountain event took off with a lot of the pros from North America showing up. This year it is the only other big mountain event going on.
Check out details here.
-Putting on my 3rd annual Dirt jump event in the downtown City Park in Kelowna with the Center of Gravity. Last year we took in over 15,000 people through the gates on the weekend. This year we have added Freestyle Motocross, Jetski racing, and the Wakeboard winch jam. It's about awesome riding and bringing mountain bikes to this hot venue in B.C.! Check it out at
Centerofgravity.ca.
-STUND 3! Last year we were blown away by the international views we received on the show around the web. Over 500,000 viewers tuned in to watch the season. Thanks for all the support! We are realizing how important this show is in our season. Kinrade and Myself have been working hard on putting together the budget and this year's episodes together. Recently we picked up a Full Canon 7d setup up as well as Go Pro HD's. Stay tuned.
-Lastly. I'll be living up at Silver Star mountain bike resort and trying to ride my bike as much as possible.
