Deity's dirt jump specific frame design, cleverly titled the Cryptkeeper, has already topped the charts this year with a recent place in Dirt Magazine's Top 100 products of 2013 as the best Dirt Jump frame on the market.

Unlike most frames on the market that are either copied directly from the generic playbook or are better suited for a street setting than steep lips, the Cryptkeeper’s geometry is what truly gives the bike its identity, feel, and demeanor at the trails. With a 69.5 degree head angle, short rear end, a top tube that does not clip your feet, and a fast agile personality, the heart of the Cryptkeeper rests in how it positions you through big sets, the rhythm of your pump, and where you body needs to be to achieve the best center of gravity for massive sets. Deity did not make a slight change to a current design…They have gone to the drawing board and created exactly what they wanted in a perfect DJ frame. Without any detail missed, the Cryptkeeper not only boasts the best geo in the trail business, but it is also built upon a 100% Post Weld Heat Treated chassis with full ED finished tubing to prevent rust and even comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Tough to beat.

With 3 months in the design process, 4 prototypes, and over two years of real world abuse under the best trail riders that actually pick up shovels and earn their time on a bike, the Cryptkeeper was immediately embraced and within the first ride, showcased why it is in a class of its own.

The Cryptkeeper is for the ones who thrive on high speed, big sets, to those who spend 75% of their time digging, who love the smell of damp dirt, the sound of a slapping shovel, and look upon a lip as a work of art.

With an unrivaled snap out of corners, control in high speed sections, stability in berms, and aggressiveness on steep lips, the Cryptkeeper is not the average industry standard frame. It is a reflection of true dirt jumpers, riders who build it wide, tall, steep, who do not poach trails, who fix what they destroy, who pick up a shovel, a hose, and spends hours upon hours grooming their spots. It is truly a select group and for those that understand…the Deity Cryptkeeper was made for you.

I love what deity does with supporting the trail building and all the people that actually dig for riding. No dig, no ride!

Great trails, great riding. But why at the start of so many videos are people walking up to their bikes in their garage, and tightening so many bolts? I cant think of a time where I have ever gone in to my garage, and found that all my bolts on my bike are only finger tight....

You cant think of a time because it has not happened yet. When it does, you will remember this time you carelessly mocked those who tighten bolts daily, and wish you too followed their practice as you smash your face into your top tube. Always wear a helmet kids.

If you dont build and just ride, go home.

I honestly don't understand why people would not want to dig. Nothing better than getting an idea in your head, spending some time and putting in work to make that idea a reality. Digging is just as addictive as riding for me, and equally satisfying.

Dude, I wish more people had that kind of mentality that you have.

digging is the life, biking is just an amazing side perk Big Grin i spend 2hrs + a day working on the jumps in my yard. it is a great way to build upper body strength and in my opinion it helps with creativity and maybe even makes you a better rider. plus whats better than riding a perfect trail that you just built!?!
