Stund 2 - Episode 3 ready to check out!

Episode 3! USA. After crossing the border we headed south to the Seattle Area where I had been filming before with my Rockstar teammate Luke Strobel and "Barred for Life". It's amazing how many mosquitoes get caked to your bike after driving for 10 hours. But we made it down in one piece... Well, almost. We lost Mike's brand new Transition off the roof rack at night on the highway. The bike took it well though and everything was good... It was the car behind us that got the best of it. Tuff bikes the Transition boys make but not that tuff. The scene here is super laid back, people come hang, ride, and feast on fresh salmon at the bottom of the trails.

Click to watch!Everyone is a ripper and likes to do nothing more then smash loamy burms and snipe doubles. This was right up our alley. After wrapping up Seattle we took off on a new mission down the Oregon coastline. Driving the entire coastline we were able to find some epic singletrack and some great lines to ride. Doesn't hurt being next to the Ocean the whole time either. We finished up with a fun stop at the go carts to battle it out for respect and the luxury of not having to put on a greasiest outfit for one day on our next episode! Romo out.

I remember the one and only time I went to 27 like 8 years ago, that was the biggest stuff I'd ever seen, I felt stupid showing up on my enduro with my Manitou Black, needless to say I rode about 20% walked 80, but loved it all, its nice to see that trail getting some exposure.

its nice to see the boys get creative and ride some lines that most wouldn't even bother looking at (oregon coast segment). that is much more inspiring than seeing the same old bike porn-- berm, jump, berm, jump....
keep the adventure alive boys-- nice work!

hey does anybody know exact directions to the exit 27 and exit 38 places, cause im in the area and would love to check them out
  • 2 1
If you're in the area, go talk to the guys at Fluid Ride or Downhill Zone. Or go to Colonnade or Duthie Hill and talk to some riders there. Directions don't get posted on the internet. Although, if you're up for a little exploring, you'll find it easily on your own. Just follow the tire tracks...

WOW! You reall think its on the coast line huh?
  • 1 0
you never know. Could be on the other coast line Big Grin

I doubt anyone will tell you since it's not a legit spot to ride.
  • 1 0
they are so lucky they didn't get busted for that. Rangers usually have the coastal areas/trails pretty locked down most of the time, at least in NorCal they do.
  • 1 0
the trails we were on said nothing about bike riding. They were designated as multi use (and bikes are included in that) We also kept all the building on the other side of the park boundary.
  • 1 0
oh ok, you just have to watch out. People are a crap load more uptight about people just digging in random places on this side of the boarder Frown
