This was a spur of the moment kind of trip. We had never been to Green River before, so when Lucas Cowan asked if we wanted to meet him there, we didn't hesitate to say, 'HELL YEAH!'

Riders: (Clockwise) Brian White, Ryan Hockett. Riley Mueller, Lucas Cowan and Zach Graveson.

We got off to a rocky start. Ryan and Brian got their crashes out of the way early.

...Like this one, as seen in the recent Mind Spark film featuring Brendan Howey and Paul Genovese.

We got up at the crack of dawn to check out the other jump we found.

Brian White, riding a massive natural berm - not letting his trail bike hold him back. The beauty of Utah is that there are so much natural terrain that you can utilize. We only scratched the surface.

We have known Lucas for a few years and this is what he does best.

Ryan Hockett found this hill on Saturday, envisioned this drop - and then went to work.

Everyone was skeptical that it would not be hittable, because the run-in was so short - everyone, except for Ryan.

We only had one day-ending crash and it was on Ryan's drop. Zach came up short, got bucked over the bars and tweeted his ankle. Thank God for shovels, they can be used for multiple things.

We had great weather during the day, but at night it rained occasionally and it was pretty cold.

The riding is breathtaking - and the landscape in Utah is so surreal...

...The photos don't do it justice.

I wanna huck. Drove by there, Virgin, Woodward West, Bootleg and tons of other legendary riding spots on my way home from college without knowing I was going to pass them all and couldn't stop anywhere since my DH bike won't be here until March. It sucked mad dick.

Yeah man, that jumps a blast. Hit it earlier this year when we were out there, must have been only been about a week after you guys went out and filmed. What was funny was that our buddy actually looked at making that same jump like two years ago. The rock drop out of the parking area was cool too.

Also good on finding the hip jump Gully made as well! Its in such a convenient spot in that zone, luckily haha. And I remember these pics of that drop on Vital, I'm assumin it was you guys seeing it looks like one of you hurt your ankle/foot. Props on hitting both of those, very gnarly. Good to see you guys camped out to enjoy the insane star gazing and hopefully the packs of coyotes, haha.
