The top 100 were ranked solely on the number of views each photo received, #1 had more views than the rest. Hope that clears it up for you!

It didn't. This is not a contest. No.1 and No.3 are both from Eric Palmer- with talent like his and nearly 1000 followers on PB alone he deserves it in my opinion. I agree it's strange that no.1 is top of this view chart as it's not even Eric's best picture IMO. Still sick though obviously.
