Video: Trevor Thew - Romping
Jul 17, 2012
Trevor Thew lives in Duncan. And this place of residence puts him on Vancouver Island 16.9km away from the base of Mount Prevost, BC Canada. Prevost stands 788 meters tall (approximately 2,585 feet for any of you still on the imperial system) and is essentially insignificant; with one exception. Prevost has downhill mountain bike trails. It also happens to be Stevie Smith's stomping grounds. You've probably seen Stevie tearing it a new one in The Collective's ''Seasons'' or Secondbase Films' ''From the Inside Out.'' It is unquestionably the best shuttle-accessible riding on southern Vancouver Island... if you know your way around. Fortunately for me, Trevor knows his way around. He's also one hell of a builder. We shot ''Mr. T'' over the course of two days in June. Trevor built the trail with help from Len (Trevor's dad) and Joe Esnouf. I hope we did justice to their effort.

How fun does that trail look? Have you ever gapped your car?
