why dont u contact transition bikes and start some kind of MTB committee? i'm sure a bigger group of people will be more important just a few guys asking for bike parks. i think transition is location in the same state you are? i may be wrong.

I know that there used to be some bike jumps there but I guess not anymore. I think that building a little bike park there would be really cool. I'm all for it!

I wanna go just because I support ANYTHING that gets us more places to ride.
I'll probably drag my FR bike down there with full gear. Just to make a point. =D

I don't know about you guys in BC, but down here we have to fight and fight and fight to even be considered for some dinky little dirt jumps that suck. I'm telling you that people down here have been in a political war for 7+ years to get a place to ride fr/dj/trials legally in my area. You guys have the opportunity to to have a bike park built by the city for free (to most of you youngans) and the best you can do to support it is say "I don't know if I'm going" like you have somewhere better to be. Don't take for granted what is being given to you my friends. If you don't support it now they won't consider it in the future when you do want it there.

I know you have some of the best riding in the world right at your doorstep but take what you can get while it's being offered.

the vancouver area alone has... 7 or 8 city jump parks that I know of, not including skate parks.
then theres the north shore trails and the rider built parks
