EPIC! even though there are mountains here, there is not a single place with so many epic places to shred like there!

2:00 first thing you do is check the go pro to see if its broken

Come on Pink Bike, it's the dead of winter & we're really important people with lots of shit to do, don't tell us something is a "must see" if it doesn't meet our strict expectations. I mean, the video quality was stunning & creative and we got to see a very unique interpretation of mountain biking & we even got to see some little banshee's hooters but you've got to stop wasting our time with this drivel. Give us more slo-mo of riders putting on goggles, squaring off corners purely for video effect & dub step.....lots & lots of dub step.

 My sarcasmometer just exploded.

everybody loves dubstep. there are so many greats of the music etched into history by that genre. the passion and story that flows from the drops and the emotion you feel from the wobs and the wubs all seamlessly strung together by beautiful high pitched squeals really advances music to a degree where is affects your soul because it is so beautiful and great

I don't understand why people don't respect this more. It's pushing, progressing, and taking the sport to new places and new levels. As a Brazilian that moved to Canada for Mountain Biking, I'm happy to see the sport developing and growing in my country every year.

It's by far the most spectator friendly mtb racing out there and the dudes are rippers! I've heard people dismiss it saying "those dudes are just nuts". I'm like f**k yeah, they're nuts, but they're also amazing bike handlers! Go double up some sets of stairs and then come talk to me.

Balance on the audio track is way left, whats with that? Makes it hard to really enjoy the video.

plus no riding sounds. what's up with that also

better run dual chamber tubes on this
  • 2 1
The idea is awesome the course seemed a little pain for urban DH. Now that the novelty has worn off organizers need toget a little more creative with the courses.

Cool race but the video almost gave me an epileptic fit. to much cutting from scene to scene. there was a couple of sections that i wish they had let it go a few more seconds cause it looked like something awesome was coming up. the music was also to... well something... would also been nice to hear that chain slap.

Did anyone else notice the increased number of people wearing neck braces in that race versus most 'normal' DH events?
  • 1 0
i noticed how much they're being used for sticking sponsor logos on...
  • 1 1
They do a pretty good job of making Full Suspension Urban Riding look extremely lame. Bring back Urban Freeriding on big bikes! I am trying to do it but it is so hard to do alone.

Bunch of lunatics! Gonna be such a great race series!

 must watch???more or less.....

Always Nice to see a City/street DH and better than nothing but a must watch is pushing it.

  • 1 0
 What happened to 'mountain' biking?
  • 1 0
I'm wondering how many of those riders used Maxxis Hookworms
  • 1 0
 So rad!!!
  • 4 5
Awesome! Makes me want to go out and ride, too bad its winter Frown
29ers could probably rule all those staircases!
  • 1 0
need to be nimble though in the tight corners. and 29er, yuck
  • 3 0
I don't really like 29ers either, but still you have to admit that that extra ability to roll over the stairs could give a serious advantage!
  • 2 1
yeah i do see the benefit there but there are some very tight, twisty bits. you'll probably lose your advantage gained on the stairs in those tight corner sections. I dunno. and urban downhill isn't that serious as a race its more to bring DH to a wider audience. if it was a prestegeous title to win then people would optimise tyres instead of just keeping their knobbly off road tyres too. I personally really like urban DH and think it should be a bigger more serious part of the sport.
