Four years ago, my best friends and I broke ground in a little plot of woods beneath the shadow of the Cascades. In those years, we have seen the woods transform completely at our own hand. When we started, we had little building experience but enough motivation to move mountains (literally). In the beginning, we dug to satisfy a need. What we needed was good “BMX” trails that were MTB friendly. Our friends in the BMX community weren’t too fond of us MTB groms at the time. In hindsight, I don’t blame them. I probably would have chased my 16 year old self out of the trails with a shovel too…
Since then, our common bond has brought us together to enjoy our trails as equals.Over the life of this place, I myself have developed an odd taste for digging and building. So much so that personally, I enjoy building as much as riding itself. This place has become a showcase for our art and one hell of a fun rollercoaster. I’m damn proud of what we have built. We set out to build some of the best trails around and I think we did exactly that, but I’ll let you all be the judge. So here you are, I hope you enjoy my edit. Thank you Evil Bicycles and Deity Components for keeping me rolling, and Bell Helmets for keeping my dome in one piece. Oh, and if you haven’t yet been acquainted, welcome to The Jungle.

Seriously badass trails, epic setting as well, through the trees. I don't have forrests like that over here in San Diego, so I wouldn't know, but it seems to me that digging there would be hard as hell, with all the roots everywhere. How bad was it?
One note: Its called "Jungle Winters", but winter started two days ago and this was shot in autumn.
