Looks like it starts in Australia then ends in New Zealand, I like it!

track looks seriously confusing and a tad unfinished, I'd get totally lost on that... so hoping Gracia wins it on his home track tho!

i have to agree...it looks extremely blown out

Something about this track makes me nervous for some reason. Looks super sketchy, hopefully no injuries this round!
  • 7 1
Me too. I think it's because of the messy environment, the area of the the track is full of dust heaps and wood piles.
  • 2 3
 That's pure downhill!

I think the combination of loose as hell dirt plus lots of off camber sections makes it super sketchy. Oh my!

Man, this track is rowdy. And all those off cambers and tight corners... Steve`s still got it.

Lots of corners and lines to remember. It will be interesting to see who pulls this one off and by how much of a margin. I sense larger gaps in the top 10-20 riders than in previous rounds.

Pinator - Sam Hill by 2 seconds is my bet

I rode this track last weekend in andorra and i can tell you that it is steeper than it looks on this video. Not quite a wide open track but fun to ride. In my opinion it lacks wide areas for the TV coverage and maybe a more spectacular finish line. Will see if the organizers do some changes...

Tonnes of off camber and flat turns.. I think this one will be good to spectate!

and im gonna be doing just that. Road tripping all the way down there for this one! looks ace!

Stand back from the tape a bit

ya should be a real test of skill to hold speed and good line through all that off camber!
  • 2 0
I reckon that's why Peaty got his record breaking world cup win here, he is the meister of holding speed on sketchy offcamber old skool stuff!

anyone else notice how comfortable peaty seemed down this one?! looked like hed been rideing it for years!

Need a huge rain to see Danny Hart shine by more than 11.699seconds!!! can't wait to see those the guys riding down the hill !!
  • 2 0
We got a lot of rain every afternoon, it's gonna be a muddy DH !
  • 8 4
The track doesn't look like you'd need a full DH bike to ride it... Am I missing something?
  • 4 0
Its always the camera! You cant see how rough and steep it is! The Polygon Air DH Track was also not rly DH like if you watch the Video! If course a couple of Tracks you could do 180mm but i also pref my DH Bike on the most tracks. The extra 20mm travel lets you off if youre doing wrong Big Grin

Also its more "comfy" Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

 i miss Val di Sole...

Helmet cams always smooth tracks out , seen some photos of this place and it's plenty rough , looks like a really good track to me.

I ve heard people that have just ridden the catalan cup in this same track and they said it is close to champery-steep and hardly any man made stuff so it sounds like a proper dh track to me

Maybe it was the helmet cam footage but the top looked pointless and flat, the bottom to the finish line kinda boring and everything inbetween seemed like an techy enduro stage with not much flow! But that's just my opinionSmile

I have watched this video 7345 times and I am still lost....
Is this the wc track with the highest number of corners ever?
Bit of a 1 liner most of the way down, should be fun to watch.
I hope they have a slightly better finish for the wc race.

Yeah that finish was a bit of a mess , looks like loose rocks on hard pack on the last corner , ppl will crash there for sure , seem kinda slow for an ending to not the usual 10 second sprint It reminds me of bits of innerliethen twisting through the trees
  • 2 1
This seems to me what a DH track should be like. Too many of the dh tracks these days are like a bmx tracks on steroids !. This seems more natural about fighting the terrain.
  • 2 2
Yeah I agree this looks like a really good natural track , not a bermed no brainer

A couple of hours of rain on race day and that track is going to be like Champery in the wet.
