The guys from the UK's Wideopen went to stay with Roost DH in Malaga, Spain at the end of last year to blow off some steam after a long season. We're feeling a little jealous right now...

00:50, did anyone thought it was miniature !!
the trail looked like ant's trail zoomed in

(Jan 19, 2013 at 8:21)
i think its the miniature effect, blurs out the backround and focuses the center of the shot to make a miniature like effect
(Jan 20, 2013 at 6:55)
That was my favorite part of the vid. Really cool camera work.
(Jan 20, 2013 at 12:02)
defo my favourite camera effect, of the ones i've seen so far
(Jan 19, 2013 at 5:47)
come back summer... you are forgiven...
(Jan 19, 2013 at 17:18)
Im eating Mcdonalds and watching this....i feel so fat!
(Jan 20, 2013 at 5:39)
LUCKY!!! Actually I had a Mcbreakfast this morning. Followed by homemade porridge (oatmeal for youse on the other side of the pond) with apple and raisins which of course made me feel vindicated... by taking on more calories... It is snowing here though... he said to the Canadian.
Er nice vid.

Nice to see Milky on the orange juice, wouldn't want to end up drunk and getting arrested in a foreign country now would we maid...

Went with the ROOST guys, damn good setup, know there trails, great villa, food, brilliant uploft with the trailers so no bike damage. My first trip abroad biking and loved it. Couldn't recommend enough. Here's my sketchy vid!!
(Jan 20, 2013 at 11:49)
Went out on a holiday with Roost in October and I have to say the whole experience was brilliant. Mal & Ben were both really cool, they did uplifts as long as we wanted, worked on our bikes late into the night if required, fed us heaps of decent food whilst catering for the more picky eaters. The trails were excellent and it was all just so easy being ferried about everyday to a great new place to ride. I'd recommend it to anyone and I can't wait to go back again.
(Jan 19, 2013 at 3:39)
Looks very nice!
Can anyone comment on Switchbacks vs. Roost DH?
Which should I go for if I can only take one trip this winter?
(Jan 19, 2013 at 4:47)
Definitely Roost! Super chill guys, and you actually get free breakfast, dinner and beer. Great times, great trails, sick villa, Roost is for sure the place to go.
(Jan 19, 2013 at 5:27)
I'd go with Switchbacks, they are a great bunch. Have only done their Summer AM week before but definitely going back soon. I highly recommend them, they really now what they are doing, really chilled and welcoming.
(Jan 19, 2013 at 8:29)
I think your going to be super impressed who ever you choose
hope you get to go!!!!
(Jan 20, 2013 at 4:17)
+1 for Roost.
(Jan 20, 2013 at 11:41)
Definitely RoostDH, overall set up is better. Their Villa is super pimp, they're top blokes who ride and build, and even spent a day fixing the (rare) water-damaged trails so we could ride them. They have now built several new trails of their own too, rather than just relying on existing stuff.
Best week riding i've had, hands down.
(Jan 20, 2013 at 12:22)
Roost DH it is then!
(Jan 19, 2013 at 3:17)
This video makes me want to ride, then go clubbing.
(Jan 19, 2013 at 23:59)
hey guys, support the local scene.. Go to Malaga with a local company like thebikeshuttle, have a look at this!!
(Jan 19, 2013 at 3:24)
that go carting looked bomb
(Jan 19, 2013 at 3:38)
Just got back with foot in plaster! Super gnarly trails take your body armour!
(Jan 19, 2013 at 6:43)
Spain does not have many trail centres, it doesn't need them!
Carting and driving on the public highways is pretty much the same
(Jan 20, 2013 at 12:33)
PS. Thats me in the blue One kit, made the cut! Woohoo!
(Jan 20, 2013 at 1:01)
Forget about Roost or Switchbacks,
is the best uplift company in Spain. They offer the best service you can get and even cheaper than others . (probably because they are locals) Just check this out
(Jan 20, 2013 at 11:42)
BS and RoostDH are good friends, we hooked up with the BS at Mijas and they were top blokes too,
(Jan 20, 2013 at 12:32)
Its Mijas Bike Park, Malaga. It was a bit rain damaged but Rich and the boys were shredding it.
(Jan 19, 2013 at 5:37)
