This kid and Jackson are just too good for how old they are, wish I started biking when I was 1 like them lol.
(Sep 19, 2012 at 2:45)
This Kid is an absolute shredder! Whistler produces such sick riders!
(Sep 22, 2012 at 13:28)
That kid is embarassing amounts better than me
(Sep 18, 2012 at 17:33)
at this rate, he won't be riding around with brandon... ... brandon will be riding with him.
(Sep 18, 2012 at 17:25)
I dont know whether to be stoked or depressed. Stoked that somebody this young can shred like this, or depressed because somebody this young is better than me.
(Sep 18, 2012 at 17:00)
Last summer i saw this kid riding the air dome and it was ridicules watching him do bigger tricks then me into the foam pit so stoked to see him progressing even more. he is going to be so good at heel clickers in the future!
(Sep 18, 2012 at 20:29)
Mad props to his parents for supporting his love of biking. I bet all the neighbor kids are stuck playing soccer while Finn is out flying.
(Sep 19, 2012 at 4:09)
Great point, family support can go a huge way in turning a pretty normal kid into such a little ripper like him! Going to hear his name alot more in the future i bet
(Sep 19, 2012 at 6:13)
helps when his dad runs whistler. kid has some serious skills but a huge advantage over most kids his age, unlimited access to the world's best bike playground. probably get neg propped for pointing it out though, but it's the truth. he's not just some random kid

i agree, anyone can be great at mountain biking and skiing if you live in whistler let alone if you dad runs the flipping place! There are also many other slighty older shredders as well
(Sep 19, 2012 at 10:58)
It does help to have that access for sure, but anyone who has spent time around kids knows that it is not just access to something that makes a kid good at something. A kid still needs to have the desire, attitude and physical ability to do these things. I know kids of very outgoing and active parents who would rather sit in front of a tv. Sorry fade-to-black, but not "anyone" can be great - only some. This kid is good because of a lot more than the opportunities he has been given. No denying they help, but I think it is selling him short to imply he's only good because of them.
(Sep 19, 2012 at 11:55)
i said he had some serious skills. and as such when combined with unlimited access plus being around pros can't hurt
(Sep 19, 2012 at 13:38)
I know. My comment was regarding fade-to-blacks comment "anyone can be great at mountain biking", I agree with your comment 100%, I only agree with fade-to-black's comment about 50%.
(Sep 20, 2012 at 16:07)
anyone that goes biking, or skiing. i live in hong kong and my accesses to mountain biking is about 0. but im only good because i spend all summer in whistler. if i didnt do to whistler i would struggle to make it down b line. but since i spend a majority of the biking season in whistler (lucky me!) i improve alot, i have riddin about 99% of trails in whistler. and im 13. the one problem the young kids have is that there not as strong as older kids or teens. so they find it hard to muscle there bikes around.
(Sep 23, 2012 at 8:31)
you must have rich parents, no?
(Sep 23, 2012 at 17:31)
You've done 99% of the trails in Whistler at the age of 13? Doubtful.
(Oct 1, 2012 at 19:33)
ive done everything but crabapple hits and clown shoes, ive not hit clown shoes because its falling apart. btw i was talking about bike park trials. ill upload some more footage of go pro if you dont believe me.
(Oct 2, 2012 at 7:15)
hmmmm. yes. at the tender age of 13? i think not
(Oct 2, 2012 at 8:38)
Bike park only? That's not even half of whistler then. So even if you've done 99% of the trails in the bike park, you've done less than 30% of the trails in whistler.
And those trails outside the park aren't your average Lycra wearin' trails. Kids these days... Can't pedal up a hill.
(Oct 3, 2012 at 3:01)
i have done cross country so i know how gnarly it is. i want to do more of it but as bikes are very expensive i only get one for the type i enjoy most.
(Oct 3, 2012 at 9:19)
I'm just buggin' ya kid. Good on you for getting out there and ripping it.
(Sep 18, 2012 at 17:06)
Watching lil' shredders line Finn and Jackson just make you feel bad about skill of riding. Like many of us are still better but they are so close behind!
(Sep 18, 2012 at 16:49)
Tongue out on the no-footer. Ballsy
(Sep 18, 2012 at 23:53)
this kid is better than most of the fully grown men I see at my local xc route, and a fair few of the eople i see at dh routes. big props to him
(Sep 19, 2012 at 17:14)
Finn rips and is even more amazing to watch in person. I was part of the Deep Summer Photo team he was on at this year's Crankworx and I was blown away at how keen he was to shoot. Never complained once about having to hike up to get another shot and every time he did walk back up, it looked like he was just having fun the whole time. At his age, I doubt I had the tenacity to be involved in an event like that and definitely not the ability. This kid is an amazing rider!
(Sep 18, 2012 at 18:29)
Semenuk givin him props!!! EFFF YEAH!!!
(Sep 18, 2012 at 16:55)
its sad how much better he is than me
(Sep 18, 2012 at 22:46)
I've seen the future, and it's two 9 year olds.
(Sep 18, 2012 at 23:56)
This is getting out of hand!!!! First Jackson, now Finn, its too much! ima just have to stop riding a bicycle to save myself the embarrassment if i were to run into these guys on the trail
(Sep 18, 2012 at 17:11)
If he keeps progressing as quickly as he is, he'll be going pro in a a few years. It's so cool seeing kids his age shred like that. He throws a whip down so well too!!
(Sep 19, 2012 at 5:17)
I watched him hit fade to black after a group of guys, two of the three of them cased the step up. He followed shortly after and showed them up BIG time. This kid is so sick!
(Sep 19, 2012 at 12:37)
Thats sick. I keep forgetting he's so small. it's like 'Hang on, that berm is huge, that trail is so wide! Ah wait, he's just tiny!' haha.
(Sep 18, 2012 at 20:08)
Big ole props lil dudes! So jealous. Hey my favorite snail is back. A summer like that will make going back to school extra tough.
(Sep 19, 2012 at 9:38)
I love the part with Brandon!! :-D
(Sep 18, 2012 at 23:15)
Finn is my favourite! Such an amazing kid too!
(Sep 18, 2012 at 20:11)
Is this the little shredder from the Strength in Numbers Whistler segment?
(Sep 18, 2012 at 19:41)
that was sick, this kid shreds!
(Sep 19, 2012 at 10:46)
that's it if i don't learn how to whip I quit ! ahahah
(Sep 19, 2012 at 15:53)
semenuk looks worried ! haha
(Sep 22, 2012 at 15:38)

(Sep 21, 2012 at 23:10)
Wow! I feel bad for the kid who was after him at show and tell that day.
(Sep 18, 2012 at 17:57)
This kid is gone kick ass when he is older
(Sep 19, 2012 at 23:20)
I GIVE UP!
(Sep 20, 2012 at 6:49)
One of the very few kids that are actually getting outside and not playing Xbox. Makes me smile seeing him shred!!
(Sep 19, 2012 at 7:30)
Best child hood ever! but i bet this little dude doesn't realise how lucky he actually is....
(Sep 18, 2012 at 20:08)
same name, same level: nope! kids awesome! idk if i could even ride a bike at his age
(Sep 19, 2012 at 15:45)
shit this kid is good. i probably was just getting my training wheels off at his age. danmit all.
(Sep 19, 2012 at 5:48)
Riding with one of the best riders in the world would be so inspirational at that age, props to brandon !
(Sep 21, 2012 at 15:22)
Nice you are my new super kid hero
(Sep 18, 2012 at 20:53)
Not sure why, he reminds me of a young Wade Simmons.
(Sep 18, 2012 at 21:30)
What the h*ll did you feed him?
(Sep 18, 2012 at 22:53)
My guess...Shredding Wheat.
(Sep 18, 2012 at 18:26)
