2012 has been a big step for me, but I know that its only one of many that I will go through in my career. Its been blood, sweat, a ton of effort and tears to get to where I am today. Thank you everyone for all the positive and motivating comments you guys leave, I enjoy scrolling through and reading all of your kind words! Thank you to all the people, my family, my friends and my sponsors that have supported me this year. Its been a big one, but I'm ready for many, many more. - Brett Rheeder

And the fact that his progression level seems to be at Semenuk level... insanity, haha.

Saw Rheeder ride in Whistler and he turned me into a believer. For a guy who wasn't satisfied with his Crankworx performance, he looked damn good. Also, on his first run where he describes slipping a pedal and not going for the flip whip, that split second decision making and poise impresses me. He's a perceptive, hard worker on a bike. Exactly the guys we want to be supporting.

With guys like Rheeder representing our sport. The future of MTB looks bright. Let's hope he stays injury free, ego free and keeps doing it for the love, not the hype of being a star. Looking forward to see what he does this upcoming season.

my thoughts exactly- weird how these video series are normally just an excuse for advertising and one of the most desirable products in this vid isn't for sale! Rheeder is plain rad.

He actually finishes his run despite crashing, that's the spirit! He has my respect and he's my new favorite rider, go big this year!

if most people crashed out, they would just get in a sulk and quit. but by getting back on and riding it out is awesome!
