Bob Marley would ride those Spinergy DH Wheels
  • 25 4
They are so fresh looking. Might have to build myself a rasta bike...
  • 3 2
I had some Spinergy wheels on a bike (before it was stolen) and they had great hubs and nice rims along with wonderful customer service. But the wheels were super flexy and the pbo spokes were a b i t c h to keep tight. I would not get spinergy wheels again.

You know what? If I was given a "Lil Shredder" when I was 4-6 years old I would have most probably died out of happiness.
  • 25 1
Lil bastards take everything for granted. I have built awesome bikes for my kids - from 16" to 24", and they just ride it like they are supposed to be that good.
  • 28 2
^^take their good bikes away and make then ride shit heaps for a while so they appreciate the good bikes.
  • 10 0
the idea of lil shreder is great, but the specs are not adapted to an 75 lbs kid. Zee groupo? those thing can stop a 200lbs dude at 80km/h. It would be better for them to build with slx and more "trail" component that are lighter and cheaper.
  • 5 0
They have nicer components than my bike...
  • 1 0
not h8ting , but if a kid who can't really ride showed up on one of those bikes and had an attitude he'd get his ass kicked where i grew up and would definitely get jacked.
  • 1 0
I agree with @GabrielDugas about the idea being great, but when I see a little kid at my local jumps who is better than me, I like resting confident that at least I have a nicer bike than they do.

Not anymore, damnit.

  • 4 3
What's next, XC racers faking a fall and blaming the rider next to them?
  • 4 3
I meant roadies. The moment is gone now. Nevermind

  • 9 1
What would you like to see from here?
  • 21 1
brule. ive really enjoyed the posts so far, no complaints, but since your asking, lots more new bikes if you please.
  • 11 2
@brule: more from the Marzocchi booth please. Any new single crown forks kicking around?
  • 9 1
Find out if there is going to be a carbon Slash!
  • 9 0
@brule I'd love to see like a 1 sentence description on why the pictured product is special.
Ex: the industry 9 hub, I couldn't tell you the real difference between this years model and last years without a side by side comparison.
It just be nice to have a little blurb about why we should care other than our love of bikes!
  • 4 1
@Brule: I'm not sure what I'd like to see. Something really mindblowing. Just one insane innovation that could actually change the world of cycling a little more than weight savings. That recycled tube bag is pretty cool... But it's an accessory. I'd like to see some kind of competition each year between different brands bringing something new to the game (and I'm not talking about another new standard here lol).
  • 1 0
I hear that Industry Nine has revamped all of their wheels and is announcing at Sea Otter. I was suprised to see the I9 hub with no mention of their new wheels.
  • 1 0
I ride a pair of the torches now and they are so light but super strong. I have beat these rims up and they are still very true. will never buy from another wheel company again
  • 7 0
I'd love to see more budget components. As much as I like to see all the bizarrely expensive new stuff and dream, that's all I can do, dream. All my friend and I are dirtbags, so anything on our end of the fiscal scale?
  • 1 2
well there was that redalp that was kinda innovative but since pinkbike users don't know how to read people were all like... ugh this is the ugliest bike ever
  • 1 0
LOL... Could be the best bike in the world. If it's ugly as shit, people will just tune it out.
  • 2 0
more completely unnecessary staged shots of hot half naked chicks holding flash new gear
  • 1 0
@brule: exactly the same... But in Canada!
  • 7 1
is trek moving to sram? i hope they ditch the brakes though.
  • 2 0
Hopefully. Might start a trend. Pikes everywhere!? If past is anything to go by, id put my dollar on the answer being 'yes' as theres never smoke without fire at PB.
  • 6 0
Those rasta Spinergy wheels look fresh as hell.
  • 3 0
Is it a problem that those Lil' Shredder 24 inchers cost more than any bike I've ever owned?
  • 1 0
I'm in the same boat as you. Never paid more than $400 for a bike
  • 1 0
I've paid a good dollar for a few bikes, like my 575, but for kids bikes they're a fortune!
  • 4 0
Am I the only one who actually likes those shoes?
  • 1 0
 That makes three!
  • 1 0
 four!!!!
  • 3 1
WTB - the latest offender in the "lets copy the Muddy Mary" craze that's sweeping the industry.
  • 7 1
 Looks like a Muddy Mary....
  • 3 0
 Mnnn... Gold single rings.
  • 1 0
I have one on my bike, along with the gold lockrings on my grips.... Big Grin

  • 2 0
shredder bikes:-ahh master jakson your phenom is ready sir!!
Jackson:-maniacle laugh!!!
  • 2 0
What is the size in centimeter for the POC XXL? Hoping they give us something up to 65cm.
  • 5 4
Its official. WTB has no clue how sipes effect a tires grip characteristics.
  • 1 0
If they do, looks like they expect riders to be on the gas or brake in the corners...... NOT very often that I do, but maybe I'M wonky for entering neutral and adding a little gas on the way out as the bike gets upright again. So yeah, I like outer knobs siped in the opposite direction..........
  • 1 0
Maybe they do, they could be there to provide a bit more outrite grip when braking on hardpack or loose sections.
  • 1 0
I was refering to the sipes on the side knobs. A lot of the best tires have them going the other way to give a better transition between grip and no grip. Its the reason they added a horizontal sipe to every second knob on the high roller 2. I can't think of a single tire that has sipes in that direction on a side knob.
  • 3 1
high end road shoes? k thats cool, high end road shoes with laces? WHY?!?!
  • 2 0
 Why not?
  • 2 0
 Cause it's really weird?
  • 1 1
if I'm going to pay for high end shoes I'm going to pay for power transfer and comfort, laces don't tension evenly so there won't be any comfort and you'll never be able to get them tight enough for the same power transfer as ratchets or those BOA/SIDI buckles

Cristiano Ronaldo ´s football boots ahahahaha

Those Giro shoes look like part of a gimp outfit.

Why would WTB make the 650b Vigilante TCS 40g lighter that their 26" Vigilante TCS? Oh yeah, to reduce the drawbacks of extra rotating momentum when you want to change direction, decelerate or accelerate. ........and to be thinner so it will puncture more and p1ss off all your riding buddies...............!
