Nice video, but that remix is LAME..
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:51)
To be fair, the original song is pretty lame to begin with. Can't polish a turd all that much.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 7:06)
im glad that adele faze is over
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:12)
are you? are your really? Life up one notch or what?
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:51)
adele is fat and her voice is annoying... nuff said
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:59)
(Aug 26, 2012 at 11:09)
You know the original song is Finally Moving by Pretty Lights right? And this is his own remix...
(Aug 26, 2012 at 12:26)
@kevin-mcdand, finnrambo , i swear if you post another stupid comment like that i am going to find out where you live and slap the autism right out of you. The original song is by AVICCI not Adele, or pretty lights,(unless i am wrong someone with proper knoledge correct me) plus Adele is a far better signer that any of these recent pop "stars" out there, give her some respect, her songs are very good, just overused. And dont go everywhere calling people fat, that just makes you a intolerable douche bag.
ANYWAYS, thats some fast riding!! looks like a sick course!!!!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 13:26)
I just had to get involved... remix is by Pretty Lights and also it is lame compared to the original which he released around 2006. If anyones wondering the whole basis of the song is from an Etta James sample taken from her song "Something's Got A Hold On Me".
(Aug 26, 2012 at 13:59)
swagger jagger ;D
(Aug 26, 2012 at 14:04)
what did kevin-mcdand say his comment looks to be deleted, and I know it's not by adele it's kinda obvious, but adele sure she's talented but still annoying and there was better at one point in time although the pre-teens will call that stuff "gay" now, I just don't like her voice I don't see the issue with that, i also don't like skrillex go ahead neg prop me
(Aug 26, 2012 at 14:08)
(Aug 26, 2012 at 14:14)
Love neg propping booners...
(Aug 26, 2012 at 16:05)
Finally Moving by Pretty Lights isnt the original either its a sample from
Judy Clay and William Bell song called private number and this came out in 1968 before both bends formed
nothing in the music we have today is origonal
here is a link just to prove it
(Aug 26, 2012 at 18:01)
Go somewhere else all of you!!!!!!!!!
This a video by a world cup winner in a world championship course!!!!!!
what does anything eslse has to do with it????????
(Aug 26, 2012 at 18:12)
thank you @potatoesandgrapes for setting the record straight
also i actually enjoyed this remix, out of all the remixes of this song (avicci, flo rida, etc) this is definitely the best one ive heard
(Aug 26, 2012 at 18:14)
Actually u can polish a turd..mythbusters did...
(Aug 26, 2012 at 18:43)
not if its a fresh turd...
(Aug 27, 2012 at 1:18)
stuff it i tured the sound of and listened to Nightwish... do that same and stop arguing
(Aug 27, 2012 at 1:18)
do the same* sorry
(Aug 28, 2012 at 11:41)
DHr4life, I am that person with proper knowledge.
Finally moving is from Pretty Lights record Taking Up Your Precious Time which was released in 2006 (
As for the Avicii song: "Avicii's most notable song has been the single "Levels" which was released officially 28 Oct 2011"
I'm assuming that because you were unable to look it up yourself, youre probably not too good with numbers either so I'll help you out with the math.
2011 - 2006 = 5
As we can see, the Pretty Lights song was released about 5 years before Aviciis song. I dont thing Pretty Lights has time travel capabilities so the only logical answer is that he made his song before Avicii ripped it off.
Hell, even the remix in this video was released a few years before Levels.
now go listen to Pretty Lights cause he makes good music
(Aug 28, 2012 at 11:55)
seriously, no one cares
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:16)
Am I the only one who wishes they'd tilted the Go Pro up another quarter inch? I hate watching vids with my chin pointing at the ceiling, trying to make the camera go up ... just ... a ... bit .... more ....
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:34)
I thought it was just me. A helmet cam needs to be pointed roughly toward the spot where the rider is looking, not down at the ground or up at the horizon. Rare for a GoPro sponsored athlete to have the angle wrong. Usually their setups are pretty spot-on.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:11)
You can add me as well , you can forget that the music sucked, but man my neck......, we all love redbull (as a sponsor) but that's not what i wanted to see , I want to see the TRACK !!!!! ( +10°?) . but other than that great riding!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:53)
I dont like the cam being on top of the helmet, being on the side of it or a chest cam wouldve been better in my opinion
(Aug 26, 2012 at 11:02)
I use the chest mount, seems to get the best angle and you get to see the handlebars. Should be a sweet race, the course looks fun
(Aug 26, 2012 at 13:09)
I have a horrible time getting the right angle when I shoot with the GoPro, haven't figured out the magic yet, though the the 960 setting definitely helps. Only mount i can get consistently right is the handlebar, but then the footage just looks like you put the gopro in a paint mixer, then kicked it down the hill.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 13:59)
youll figure it out eventually it just takes a few laps
(Aug 26, 2012 at 14:05)
if you shoot at the 960 setting, you can pick a 16x9 frame out of the 4x3 image, and you'll nail the angle, and have the ability to change the angle through the shot if you want.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 20:36)
they need it low so you can see the redbull logo *shakes head* the track comes second to repin the sponsors!
(Aug 27, 2012 at 16:42)
Nice tip, paulwatt.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:01)
How nice would it be if we had a dry and dusty World Champs for the first time since Australia in 2009.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:13)
Yeah, but we all know the wet races are far more entertaining to watch.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:04)
but as a racer myself, nothing beats a perfect conditions race. Gets me stoked as mad
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:25)
No way, as if Val Di Sire wasn't the best race of the last 2 seasons. I was fucking amped, i know that for sure.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:50)
But then we'd miss out on such classic moments as "DANNY STAY ON YOUR BIKE!!!"
(Aug 26, 2012 at 7:06)
LUKIITTT THE TIMEEEE
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:35)
Brook for the win!!!!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:44)
WWWHHHHHHHAAAATTT TTTTHHHEEEE HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLL!!!??????
(Aug 26, 2012 at 14:11)
?? He is fair pinned at the moment.... This kinda track suits him too...
although I also can see Gwin dominate..... Again!?!?! Haha
(Aug 27, 2012 at 15:12)
how nice would it be if the world champs were never at that Canberra track again
(Aug 27, 2012 at 17:38)
World Trail is pushing for World Champs in Cairns in 2016 or something like that. To mark 25 years since they were last there or something like that. Maybe 50.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:01)
Well that wasn't walking.
(Aug 27, 2012 at 1:21)
Brook doesnt walk... he has evolved now
(Aug 26, 2012 at 4:52)
So cool to see the pro's riding where i rode a few days ago!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 4:58)
tis the strangest looking world cup track ive seen, very man made and other tracks weaving in and out
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:19)
that's how those alpine bike parks are, loads of tracks crossing over each other
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:46)
looks smooth at the moment ... because the track was reshaped for worlds. believe me, the track will be bombed out really fast, with some nice motoruts ...
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:26)
I'm sure you guys remember Willingen, Germany
(Aug 26, 2012 at 18:44)
that trail won't be as smooth as it looks anyway, go pro smooths trails out. The top reminds me of the swiss national track, crazy steep and rocky, looked pretty tame on video though!
(Aug 28, 2012 at 11:42)
(Aug 26, 2012 at 11:10)
Sorry but I'm not a fan of this course.... It doesn't have enough technical sections and seems to be an all berm/jump trail.... Don't get me wrong it's still a rough course for 90% of us including me but this is the world champs....
(Aug 26, 2012 at 18:20)
Agreed. It's pretty much the opposite of Champery. Sure, on tracks like this and say, South Africa, you've still gotta absolutely pin it and have incredible flow to finish on the top step but I'd rather see them shred vertical walls of roots, rocks and whatnot for Worlds.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 19:19)
This track certainly seems less technical than the rest of the world cup offerings, but it also looks like one of the most enjoyable to shred! This is probably one of the few I would actually have the confidence to mob down..
(Aug 27, 2012 at 17:14)
I think that'll mostly depend on the weather... some of those sections look downright sketchy in the wet at the speeds these guys and galls are going.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 23:50)
I don't think this race will be as good as it was at Val d'Isere! I was there watching it! Amazing atmosphere, and a nice track. It's a shame this track at Leogang has gone all "bikeparky" big burms, big tables, wooden stuff...
Where's all the techy sections?!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:29)
I wanna see dry and dusty track like Crankworx....and Stevie Smith on the top step like Crankworx!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 7:26)
It has nothing on the great Fort Bill.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:03)
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:22)
Actually, its got a shed-load more steepness - the top of Leogang is really steep (though not as bad as Champery or Val di Sole). Plus they seem to have gone around some of the rooty sections at the bottom, which is a real shame as those are (or were) properly nuts. Scariest bit of the entire course though is all the electric cattle fencing on either side of the track - it is live and f$&k me does it hurt when you touch it :-D !!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 13:55)
Yeah well Fort Bill does beast mac 'n' cheese
(Aug 29, 2012 at 23:13)
fort bills beat up and shite whistlers where its at.
(Aug 30, 2012 at 13:21)
I bet whistler does shite mac 'n' cheese!!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 16:18)
I dream of the day canon will do a helmet cam so it can have a good image stabilizer.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 19:28)
Sony & JVC have just released Helmet Cameras, worth a check.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:43)
This look just like one of the courses from the old downhill domination game on ps 2
(Aug 26, 2012 at 13:11)
loved. that. game.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:48)
that song was awful
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:14)
@Camino , spend moooore time on bike , no by the computerr and you should have better condition , maybe riding for 2 minutes wouldn't be such as tiring as now !
For me it's quiet nice bmx track
I hope during Worlds will be raining and form big motoruts and will be challenging, cause now, on the helmetcam track looks little boring. Cheers !
(Aug 26, 2012 at 14:40)
I found the track is not easy but not difficult
(Aug 26, 2012 at 21:07)
(Aug 26, 2012 at 14:16)
fly me there and I would be glad to!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:00)
Pretty fast course walk
(Aug 27, 2012 at 12:54)
the jump at 2.06 was huggeee
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:04)
Track definitely looks fun!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:34)
Top section looks very steep and rutty. Though, I could definitely have done without the remix.
(Aug 28, 2012 at 11:59)
To be honest, in this vid it doesn't look steep at all. In reality, I was scared to stand there, not even riding it down. Looks rough and wild but on vids it looks much more pleasant
(Aug 31, 2012 at 18:54)
The problem with vids is that it makes the field of depth look flat and therefore very easy but in reality, its very much harder. Trust me !!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 11:13)
possibly one of the worst song remixes out there
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:51)
if it rains in leogang like it did in champery last year, we are in for a show
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:43)
It is raining in Leogang! But race day is still a week away so lets see what happens...
(Aug 26, 2012 at 22:05)
I'd rather see a race in ideal conditions than slop. In my humble opinion, it shows the general skills and fitness of the riders better and the riders go faster and more readily take it to the edge. I'm just not a fan of watching elite pro after elite pro sliding on their ass through slop. Danny Hart last year was of course an exception, but look at most of the other top guys that day--sliding on their asses!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:47)
I wouldn't have a bit of fun at the forest part at the end, too many roots too steep for me
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:22)
Haha I am f*cked up after a 2 minute race track ^^ They need f*ckin condition
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:04)
I guess lm confused. There is one more race in Norway right? Then the world champs?
(Aug 26, 2012 at 19:27)
Their is World Champs at Leogang and then there is the last round of the world cup in Norway, 2 weeks after World Champs.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 21:08)
Is that how it usually works? That seems weird.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 9:27)
Oh shiz this going to be real shootout. Forget the series and points it all about who got the biggest stones.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 21:27)
@cyrix what about HOW WAS DANNY HART SIT DOWN WITH BALLS THAT BIG ???
(Aug 26, 2012 at 15:52)
Course looks good! Will be quick and rough
(Aug 27, 2012 at 3:27)
nice & long track!!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 20:07)
Seems kind of shaky, chest cam? yeah and the song...
(Aug 26, 2012 at 15:19)
Troy Brosnan going to have a tough time here espically since he f*ck himself up on this course
(Aug 26, 2012 at 21:59)
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:35)
That song gave me cancer
Below threshold threads are hidden
(Aug 26, 2012 at 8:08)
This track sucks its nearly exactly the same as last years world cup track, you would have thought for world champs they would have built an entire new track. Now all the fast boys from last year will know every section and line. Very disappointed
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:54)
this is the same as champery in which way?
(Aug 26, 2012 at 12:50)
he said world cup not last years world champs, as in same as last years leogang track
(Aug 26, 2012 at 13:58)
OH! sorry about that misread it, it will still be a fun race to watch, don't think hart will defend his title on it though unless it gets muddy
(Aug 26, 2012 at 14:15)
Build an entire new track? Do you have any idea how much work and money that would take? Not to mention how much additional damage you'd have to do to the mountain?
I'm completely blown away by the ignorance of some of these comments today.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 19:41)
New tracks are a dime a dozen, ignorance is in the eye of the beholder...
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:21)
This track super sucks... I'm sure someone dumb enough to try, would be able to descend this track on a road bike!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 6:27)
Good you can be the guinea pig.
(Aug 26, 2012 at 7:54)
ScaryGerry you are gnar
(Aug 26, 2012 at 10:58)
sure its not champery but i think youll be surprised how steep it is... and sram red brakes wouldnt help you there (roadies should get that)
(Aug 26, 2012 at 15:12)
fly me there and I would be glad to!
(Aug 26, 2012 at 5:08)
great track, looks hectic (times will be much quicker than the headcam shoot).
