Pretty standard riding for the most part but what got me were some of the shots. That was insanely well done and some of those, for example the rider and time lapse background and the still motion traveling landscape shots were so wild. Although I skipped a lot of the filler, the cinematic value of this is just awesome. Def. some of the best/different camera work I've seen in anything with biking. Not to mention the incredible landscapes... I've never seen this side of Russia before because I've only seen shots in ski movies.
To my mind the riding is so-so ( could be batter, there are lots og guys in Russia who can ride awsome! ) but we shouldn't expect more because mtb industry is just starting to develop in those countries and as for beginning i should say that the film is great! Take my greatings guys! You did a good work. I wish this things happening more often in our area. Also i'd like to invite you guys from Europe and America! There are a lot of places to visit here in Russia, Ukraine and Georgia! And a lot of nice guys to ride with!
WOW, this film on the main page of Pinkbike, it's absolutely sick for us!! A great film with good riding. Nothing special, but it has something, that makes me watch it again and again
красивый и филосовский фильм! но музыка его портит. я не о треках - к ним нет претензий. я говорю о стране производства музыки и о языке исполнения. нашим фильмам лучше бы подошла наша музыка! спасибо за внимание!
Philosophical beautiful and the movie! but the music of his spoils. I'm not on the tracks - there are no claims to them. I'm talking about country music production and performance of the language. our films would be better approached our music! Thank you for your attention!
Nice and inspirational, very well filmed too. Not all of us need to see guys flying off cliffs to want to ride a bike...
Just a little authenticity remark: The film, the guys and the voice-over are Russian, the soundtrack is west coast U.S... I'm sure they could have found some good Russian local music that would have made this film stand out of the crowd.
Great film! I am struck by the similarities to what I see and ride around here. I swear I've been on some of those trails. As for the music, I imagine the selection is what they like to listen to and what gets them stoked. It could have been this: [YT=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5D-9X3ooFvo]
The good beginning for progressive advance!!! Russia still will declare itself at us riders type experience which they will show at world level and this time will come quickly enough!))
but in all seriousness, fantastic film. the part about returning to ordinary life really struck home with me. russia is now on my list of places to visit!
Also i'd like to invite you guys from Europe and America! There are a lot of places to visit here in Russia, Ukraine and Georgia! And a lot of nice guys to ride with!
