For 2010 we are pleased to announce that we have brought aboard one of the most talented all around riders in the bike industry with Aaron Chase. One of the greatest qualities that Aaron has is that he completely kills it on a bike no matter what he is doing. He has raced at the elite level in DH, Slalom and 4x and has stood at the top of many freestyle event podiums. Aaron also has produced multiple films throughout his very successful bicycling career and now launches web edits that document his progressive riding along with his life.

Look inside to see more!At X-Fusion we see Aaron as a valuable asset for development and growth of our company’s products. He has a strong technical understanding for the products he uses and what he requires from them. His feedback and influence will go straight into the development of X-Fusion’s future suspension. Aaron’s ability to produce media and promote himself as a rider is also key to the success we will have together. X-Fusion has always been a supporter of video media and adding Aaron’s web edits and GoPro videos to the content we co promote will help us reach a more diverse demographic.

Aaron equipped with X-Fusion Vengeance fork!

X-Fusion’s Brand Director John Hauer had this to say, “We saw the opportunity to sign Aaron and we could not let it slip away. He has always been somebody that I have looked up to throughout my time in the bike industry and I’m glad that things have come together. After Aaron’s recent trip to California and the short time he was at the X-Fusion headquarters, it is apparent that forming this rider-sponsor relationship was a great decision for both parties. I look forward to working with Aaron over the next year and hopefully into the future.”

Aaron Added, “Partnering with X-fusion is a perfect match for me, these guys really listen to their riders and as soon as I put the Vengeance fork on my bike I knew it was going to be sick. I have always heard great things about them, but it wasn’t until I rode the fork that I was a believer. I am looking forward to a long partnership with a rider driven company like X-Fusion.”

No in the picture it looks like 26 inch Maxxis DTH's protos
  • 2 0
personaly i think they look like Kenda Kiniption
  • 2 2
I agree with HJ22,they look like kiniption's,i may be wrong. But good luck with the move Aaron you know what ya want from a fork. It's a big name X fusion have taken on,and THE biggest fork company bar none. He'll still be sponsered by Fox though,in there protection and clothing ranges,he's always been a "Fox Rider".
...PINNED...NOT BINNED...THE GRINGO...

  • 2 1
did you know they're 2 different companies? lol
  • 2 0
Velour? What? And when is X-fusion coming out with a dual crown again? I know their delta's suck, Me and my friend have broken 3, but they still make internals for bionicon...And they could definitly use a dual crown to expand their line up
  • 2 1
Yeah they do look like DTH tires not kiniption because kiniption tread goes all around the tire and don't stop at the side. But these ones do stop at the side wall.

wow x-fusion has got some really big names in the djing world on there team now, good for them!
  • 1 0
Yes Fox Racing Inc and Fox Racing Shocks are different companies, but the owners of these companies are brothers.

So Aaron Chase is still sponsered by one of the Fox Brothers,so i take back my comment from earlier, cos i was right the first time in saying AC has always been a member of the Fox rider inc,. So thanx for that bit of info Hatch and good luck with ya own career. And i've since looked in a mag and seen that Blk Mrkt's comment on the kiniption having bead to bead is right, and i haven't seen the proto DTH's.Maybe they're Snafu cos they do a 26er not a million miles away from it.Anyway c ya. ...pinned...not binned...the gringo...

Yep it's official- Maxxis is bringing out a line of 26 inch DTH tires! Stoked!!

I'm still waiting for him to switch to a new frame sponsor. I can't see him staying with Cannondale since they don't make the chase frame anymore....
  • 3 3
Doubt that will happen as that looks like a new Chase frame. Expect big things in 2011 for Cannondale....
  • 3 0
not at all. I was supposed to get an internship at cannondale next summer. not going to happen. they're really struggling and are moving away from this type of market to a purely AM/XC market.
don't expect big things from c-dale.
  • 1 1
interesting I've heard more sources say the opposite though... I guess we will soon see..
  • 1 0
cannondales going back to xc dropping all the freeride in the near future
  • 2 0
as if they ever had a solid presence n the freeride scene to begin with..... their name rhymes with crack-n-fail too much
  • 1 0
it also rhymes with poop n dale
  • 1 0
I hope there are big things to come from them. I Love both of my Cannondale's. And reallybigmantis - the crack-n-fail joke is just lame at this point. I ride the sh!t out of my bikes, and haven't had any issues (I'm not a light guy either...). I have however seen guys snap Kona frames on a more regular basis than I could have imagined... ..hahaha.. poop n dale...

Good to see him with a company he likes. He's been riding C-Dale since the 90's and they've always taken good care of him but with the company changes we'll just have to see what happens.
As far as being "more street", Aaron has been riding what we'd call urban and street riding on MTB's since the mid 90's. He was one of the first people to put pegs and single speed stuff on his C-Dale hardtail in 96.

Aaron chase is the reason why im riding 26", hes like my idol.
  • 1 0
Chase what's up with the tensioner? Is there something wrong with the eccentric BB? I thought it looked cleaner.

...and why is the softail not being ridden? I want to see more of that bike in action.
  • 2 0
Right on, now thats a Solid team right there.. Arron is a super dialed Rider.. very entertaining to watch. Xfusion scored
  • 2 0
Boyakasha- thats not holyrollers, i think it's prototypes. sick fork for sure, but i cant see why he left fox
  • 2 0
its all about money. x-fusion probably offered him more cash than he was getting from fox
  • 1 0
Were they say an opportunity came up, he could have been going through a contract re-signing with fox, which would make it possible for x-fusion to jump in. Not saying thats what happened, but its possible.
  • 1 0
yeah that may have been the case
  • 1 0
Yeah, and Aaron gave us a clue,"Partnering with X-fusion is a perfect match for me, these guys really listen to their riders".... "I am looking forward to a long partnership with a rider driven company like X-Fusion.” maybe fox wasnt pleasing him so much
  • 1 0
cant see how x-fusion colud offer him more money, they are not that big as a brand. but what do i know, could be some finacial back-up
  • 1 0
congrats for Aaron!! I do not know if it is appropriate to ask this here, but I am interested if there are x-fuzion dealers in Croatia, or somewhere near it.

Aaron Chase= Legend / Aaron Chase + beard = Not good

Looks like a cool change for Aaron, wonder what happened with Fox though...end of contract? Btw, Cam's brother looks almost exactly like him.

aaron chase get more and more street everyday!
  • 1 0
yeah chase is fairly mad-dawg! i'd like to see a list of every company he has rolled for in say... the last 5 years.

Congrats Chase!! I call dibs on your old fox forks. PM me for my address doggie!!

on the x-fusion website are only 160mm travel forks. Is there a lowering kit available for the Vengeance fork?
  • 1 0
cannondale cut the dirt/gravity product line for the 2010, which bike does aaron ride?
  • 1 1
well, hes probably got enough chase frames on stock for a lifetime, and they still make some pretty sweet long travel bikes, the moto is sick. and ive also herd rumors of big stuff from cannondale for 2011. but hey. who knows.
  • 1 0
Crackandfail I mean Cannondale has failed at every dh gravity bike they have tried. The Chase was a good seller cutting that frame was a dumb move. X-fusion must be paying Aaron big money because their forks are inferior to Fox. The Vengeance is set at 160mm but is internally adjustable to 130 and 100mm. But can't imagine it being better then a Float 36rc2 especially the money it is going for.
  • 1 0
post office has gotta be sick, mccauls just chillen in the backround. gotta ride there some day.
  • 1 0
are they gonna try makeing another dh/fr fork? it would be cool to have it matching my rear shock(an H3 LT)
  • 1 0
Congrats Aaron, best of luck for 2010.
