Norco Signs Pro/Elite Canadian DH Champ Mike Jones

Norco Performance Bikes, one of North America's leading producers of high quality mountain bikes, components, and clothing, is proud to announce that Vancouver Island home boy Mike Jones will be racing for Norco Performance Bikes for a third consecutive year.You know the seasons are changing when Mike leaves the mainland and the pressures of the racing circuit, and relocates back home to Victoria for dry-land training and hours in the saddle on the road. The only difference this year is that Jones has returned to the island with the title of 2003 Men's Pro/Elite DH Canadian National Champion-a fulfillment of the promise he showed as a junior racer when he won the DH Nationals as a junior.

This past season was an especially busy one for Mike as he placed 3rd overall in the Canada Cup standings, managed to host 13 episodes of the nationally aired mountain bike TV series the Ride Guide, and spoke to thousands of youth as a motivational speaker for the Esteem Team. Mike really is one of those rare guys who can deliver the complete package.
