Vacant lot blues

Ah yes... What is summer without fun in the vacant lot? And what
if that vacant lot happened to have a big hole dug in it? And let's
just say that big hole happened to have big beautiful piles of dirt
around it? And say a bunch of your insane friends showed up with
a bunch of shovels, beer and bikes?
Well, you would have a good ole' fashioned Ramp Buildin' party
- that's what you would have! And that's just what happened last
Friday night! Under the skilled direction of New Zealand's own 'Dr.
Downhill' Alex, we constructed a wicked tabletop jump. Dr. Downhill
then schooled us mortals (notice the difference in vertical between
the pros and the mimos!) on how to best make use of air...
This was followed by the world renoune basement sounds of the 'Vino
Festival' Jam Troupe - who recorded a splendid rendition of their
now famous "Spider Man" cover in beautiful drunk-punk style...as
