Dirt Divas - Winner of best mountain bike film award

A few months ago, as I finished watching Dirt Divas
I said to myself: finally a movie about the riders and the sport
they love - and it's all girls! A nice break from the huge air,
big drops and loud music you see it today's MTB flicks.

Ann Walton has put together a real hit, and rightfully
so the movie has just won the "best mountain bike film" award at
the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival.

This first all-female mountainbike movie combines
great documentary style stories and archival footage with sweet
tunes and great riding. It features top female XC, downhill, and
dual-slalom racers such a Chrissy Redden, Cheri Elliott, Elladee
Brown, Cindy Devine and many other riding throughout British Columbia
and the U.S, including Vancouver's North Shore, Kamloops, Whistler
and Pemberton.

This film is a great eye opener and a source of inspiration
in this male dominated sport. You can pick up a copy in
our on-line store
or go to http://www.dirtdivas.ca/
for more details.
