Jay's the rider that many of us want to be, well versed on all things 2-wheeled and yields a solid bag of tricks. Join him as he travels from Colorado's snow laden landscape back east to some of the best looking, sculpted trails we've seen.
In the summer of 2012 I left the state of New Jersey in search of a new life out west, but every year since then, on the third week of October, I seem to drift back to the east coast for a few weeks. Maybe it has something to do with the vibrant fall foliage that occurs like clockwork every autumn. Maybe it could be the local dirt jump trails calling me back; inviting me for a session on their perfectly sculpted lips and landings. Or maybe it's simply just close friends and family. Either way it has turned into an annual pilgrimage for me and something that I look forward to every year.
It doesn't get better than following a friend through the fall foliage.
This year I drove back from Crested Butte, Colorado with a car packed full of bikes, camping gear and a few cameras. Having a car for the trip this year enabled me to get to a few more places then previous years when I had flown. During the trip I was able to get in some solid sessions at my favorite jump spots in New Jersy and even made it up to New York City for a quick dirt jump mission. Then a few friends and I packed up the cars and headed off to Highland Mountain Bike Park in New Hampshire for the highlight of the pilgrimage. I tried keeping the cameras rolling the whole time I was on the east coast, and so.. here it is; the illustration to my annual pilgrimage.

And... we've arrived at the land of high.
